Algonquin is Close to home. And the only college around me that offered the American sign language program. I had gone to a different college before in Belleville and since moving home it was a course I had wanted to take.
I chose to go to Algonquin because I was from out of the city and I had family there so I moved here to study and live. I don't plan to leave after school unless I chose to study outside of Algonquin.
It's a good college with Good learning experience, Nice campus, Various opportunities in the course along with with various types of services provided by the college The online book, The printing facilities in the whole college and also the teaching of the college.
Because it had the best program for me. Like I mentioned before I had gone to university for 3 years and never learned anything but theory, where at college this program gives me the hands-on experience I need to be hired for the police force.
I did my research on it. And it and I liked the healthcare programs. At first, I was looking into occupational therapy assistant. But I changed my mind and saw interest in the online courses as I was in the process of moving and I can work at my own pace.
Fast Track my diploma, it also offered a variety of opportunities to get certificates to build skills. It was very hands on compared to other Forestry programs. I also liked the size of the campus. I could also save money by doing college first and than going to university.
It was closest to where I live. It also offered great business programs that I needed to open a business one day. There were lots of good reviews for it. I knew I would attend this particular college so I applied for all my programs at this one.
Close to home which saves on living and travel costs. Also this was the college I knew the most about and was most comfortable attending. Also, living at home provides more support. These are just some of the reasons that I chose Algonquin.
