I wanted to do master in data science from Melbourne Australia. And deakin university was among top reputed universities with a great data science program. Few of friends studied here as well. The university is in the eastern suburbs with close proximity to the CBD yet having affordable housing options.

I chose Deakin University because it is one of the well-recognised university in Australia. Moreover, the unit chairs are very reputable researchers and very helpful. Lots of research projects are there to undertake if someone is interested.

I choose my university as it was offering the course which i was planning to undertake and not only that it have a good reputation

I have studied at University of Melbourne for a year and from there I have learned that even if the university is the best, it is not suitable for all. I shifted to Deakin because the teaching is more practical and students are not burdened under pressure of exams and hurdles. Deakin University works according to students and helps them through every step. I have got the opportunity to explore more when I was in Deakin University than in University of Melbourne. So , I would suggest if you are looking for practical based learning, Deakin is the best with a lot of minor/major options.

Great programs and qualified staff. I always wanted to travel to Australia as I have my family residing here too. A beautiful country with friendly people. Deakin University was the first university to offer me an enrollment. The others followed suit later.

It had the optometry course I wanted and the course is accelerated, so it only takes 3.5 years to complete my bachelors and masters instead of the normal 5. More of a rural area and not in the city. Lots of placement and overseas options.

I had friends over in this university that told me about the facilities and the good reputation of this school. They have a good Architecture program and have well-established professors that teach in my chosen course.
