Deakin University, Australia recently announced its Vice Chancellor’s Meritorious Financial Aid program for 2022. The program will offer 100% waiver on tuition fee to four Indian students with excellent academic records for the duration of their course. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible to apply for this program.

Ten Indian students - Advay Srivastava, Anjali Mishra, Arushi Shrivastava, Gaurya Singla, Manya Mahajan, Rishika Kapur, Shreshtha Sinha, Simranpreet Kaur Pannu, Sushmitha Singh, and Umang Khandelwal - are the recent recipients of Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s Meritorious 100% Scholarship 2023. The winners were announced during an exclusive “Leaders of Tomorrow” episode in collaboration with Deakin University, showcased on Times Now and Mirror Now.

Deakin University’s new campus is located in the heart of the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City). It is the first university in the world to open an international branch campus in India. The GIFT City campus is currently under construction and is set to initiate teaching and industry engagement in January 2024. Deakin will celebrate its 50th anniversary and 30 years of establishing operations in India on the same year.

Deakin University, among the top universities worldwide, has announced a strategic collaboration with Boeing India aimed at advancing research in high-temperature applications in aerospace and defence through alloy development and additive manufacturing of titanium aluminide. A historic milestone was achieved this week as Deakin University proudly welcomed its inaugural batch of students to the GIFT City Campus in Gujarat, India.
