  • 70-80% of people get full-time jobs within 6 months. The average salary would be 70k and goes up to 100k for starters, and it increases with time. Students can get jobs by applying for internships and get converted to full-time or by applying through company portals. In regional areas, it is difficult to find jobs. In Canberra, it is very difficult as all are government offices, and without PR, it is difficult to find a job.

Everyone is approachable with good support however you much manage your work and study well. UC is great but not the best, I feel like it still misses something to be the best. There must be more flexibility for students.

Completed year 12 in the same city. Was and still am living with, and as I have no work experience and had and still have no income; couldn't afford to move out yet alone move to another city. The University of Canberra was the only university within my city that offered the course I was interested in.

I love the environment of the campus. You don't have much pressure from peers about studying hard and the degree is driven by you and not by pressure from your peers. Great facilities on campus, the accommodation is only minutes of walking away.

Because it was the only university in the city/area that I wanted to study in that offered the particular degree that I want to do! So basically it was due to the limited availability of the degree in the area.
