Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) released Phase 2 seat allotment on June 26, 2026. It is the most competitive institution under GGSIPU. In 2025, USICT CSE (Dual Degree) closed at approximately 31,727–38,638 for General category Delhi students in Round 1. Factors Affecting IPU CET 2026 Phase 2 Closing Ranks

Phase 2 closing ranks are shaped by how many students upgraded or withdrew after Phase 1. Understanding these dynamics helps you plan your sliding round choices more effectively.

• Vacancies from Phase 1 upgrades: Every student who moves to a better option in Phase 1 frees a seat for Phase 2. Colleges where many students upgraded will see more Phase 2 vacancies and may close at a slightly more relaxed rank.
• Delhi quota versus Outside Delhi quota: Delhi Home State quota covers 85% of seats and closes at a higher CRL number than the Outside Delhi quota (15% of seats). Students from outside Delhi need a better JEE Main rank for the same programme and shift.
• Category reservation: OBC, SC and ST students compete within their reserved seats. Closing CRL figures for these categories are significantly higher than the General rows shown in the tables above.
