MDU DDE Result 2026 Portal by Program Type

Individual results and result gazettes sit on different MDU pages. CDOE students also use a Samarth portal for other student services.

What Students Need	Where to Find It	Details Needed
Individual semester result	result.mdu.ac.in	Registration Number and Roll Number
Result gazette (full list of results)	MDU Result Gazette page	None, open PDF
CDOE student login and re-registration	ddemdu.samarth.edu.in	Samarth login details

A separate CDOE and private students gazette covers the January 2026 exams. It went up on July 8, 2026. Gazettes for May 2026 results up to September 15 came next. They went up on September 16-18, 2026.

How to Check MDU DDE Result 2026

The portal opens without any login. Students only need two numbers printed on the admit card.

Open the official result portal at result.mdu.ac.in.
Find the course and semester in the "Result Declared" list.
Enter the complete Registration Number.
Enter the Roll Number from the admit card.
Submit the details to see the result on screen.
Download or print the page and keep it for reference.

Example: A B.Com DDE NEP Semester 2 student picks the September 18 entry. Both numbers then open the result.

How to Read DDE Labels on the MDU Result List

The result list uses short labels that confuse many students. A wrong pick makes the result look missing.

DDE NEP: newer batches admitted under the NEP 2020 scheme.
DDE Semester: older-scheme distance batches, including final-year students.
Online Programme or Online Mode: the online version of a course. It is listed separately from the regular distance course.
ReAppear Only: results only for students who wrote a reappear paper.

BA DDE NEP Semester 2 came out on October 9, 2026. Old-scheme BA DDE Semester 4 came out on September 17, 2026.

Why the MDU DDE Result Is Not Showing

Most "result not found" problems have a simple cause. These are the common ones.

Problem	Likely Reason	What to Do
Course not in the list	Result not yet declared for that course	Check the list again after a few days
Wrong course opens	NEP and old-scheme entries mixed up	Match the scheme on the admit card
Details not accepted	Incomplete Registration Number	Enter the full number with no spaces
Result shows as withheld	Pending fee, documents or paper issue	Contact the CDOE office in Rohtak

Students of programmes such as the M.Sc. Mathematics distance course may see three separate entries. Each matches a different scheme or mode.

How to Apply for Revaluation and Scrutiny After the Result

The MDU Re-evaluation Branch handles revaluation for distance students too. Its fee notice is dated March 6, 2026. The fees apply until March 31, 2027.

Course Group	Within 15 Days	16 to 30 Days
Group A: BA, B.Com (TDC), diploma, certificate	Rs. 600 per answer book	Rs. 750 per answer book
Group B: MA, M.Sc., M.Com, MLISc	Rs. 600 per answer book	Rs. 750 per answer book
Group C: B.Ed, BCA, BBA, B.Lib and similar	Rs. 900 per answer book	Rs. 1,040 per answer book
Rechecking or identification of answer book	Rs. 240	Rs. 240

Students fill the re-evaluation form online after the result. Forms are not accepted after 30 days. A student of the BA distance course falls in Group A.

Example: A B.Com distance student got the result on September 18, 2026. Applying for two papers by October 3 costs Rs. 1,200. Applying later, up to October 18, costs Rs. 1,500.
