Yoga courses at IGNOU are short courses of duration 6 months to 2 years. The program is offered through various regional centers such as Delhi, Dehradun, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Ladnun, Chennai, Mumbai, and Pune. The fee for the whole program stands INR 5,000. Students at IGNOU are offered admission on a first come first serve basis, in case the seats are full at one center, the student is offered another if seats are available at that center.

IGNOU Yoga Course Study Material 2024

Students are provided study materials in the form of Practicals, Log-books, and audio-video.

The practical content of the study material is provided for self-practice. The practical manuals provided give detailed information about the skills that students need to perform.
The Log-book maintains the records of all the activities that students perform as a part of the program. The log-book provided is for keeping a record of practical courses that students do as per the provisions made.

Ques. What if my address changes? Will I still be able to get my study material?

Ans. Yes, you will still be able to receive your study materials no matter if your address gets changed. You need to fill up a form available on the official website and submit it to the Director of SED through your regional director. Your new address will be considered and the material will be sent to you.

Ques. If for some reason the students are not able to complete the course in 2 years. Will he/she get re-admission to the course?

Ans. If a student is not able to pass in all the courses within the registration period of 2 years, there is no scope for re-admission in this program.

Ques. How is the result issued for the program?

Ans. The result for all the assessments come in a computerized form. When the student completed all the courses of the program, a printed mark sheet along with a provisional pass certificate is sent to the students.

Ques. My result for the program is lost, can I get a duplicate pass certificate from the university?

Ans. There is a provision of issuing a duplicate certificate for students if such emergencies take place. The student needs to submit a receipt of request along with the demand draft at IGNOU payable at New Delhi center.

I applied in college in Delhi only, and got selected in IP University as well, but I was looking for a correspondence mode of study so I withdrawl that option and applied for IGNOU. As many of my known were taken degrees from this university they suggested me to go for that. For admission, you have to fill up an admission form online, and it will lead you to the final payment mode, and after the completion of the form, you'll receive your Student ID and details of your regional centre and study centre as well. For MA English Literature, the eligibilty is to have a graduation degree in any course.

IGNOU BSCG Course Review: Know yearly fee, course details, eligibility and more

I applied for bsc courses at Delhi Universirty but couldn't make in due to low marks scored in my 12th board exams. The cutoffs were really high, minimum 90% in 2020. The admission process for the BSCG course at IGNOU is fully online. You only need to visit university/study centres in case of any issues with your study material delivery. I wanted to choose delhi university but because of some issues i had to choose ignou. no i have not applied for ther colleges. and i have choosen ignou for my further studies wat went is thst i thought that ignou also organise every sunday classes for the students so that they can also get chance to learn and to get some knowledge offline but they didn't. admission process of college is simple you just need to go to the offical website of the ignou and on the admission icon you need to go and register and pay the fee along with asked information that's it. admission experience was nice and there s no specifications about the cutoffs anybody can apply for this.

How long does it usually take for IGNOU to confirm admissions taken through their online submission system?

If you enroll in the January session:

Yearly programs — You must submit your assignments by September 30th and your TEE by December 30th.

Semi-annual/semester programs — You must turn in your assignments by April 15th, and your TEE by June 30th.

Yearly program—You must submit your assignments by March 31st, and your TEE in June.

Semi-annual/semester programs — You must turn in your assignments by October 15th, and your TEE in December.

IGNOU exams are held twice a year. In June and December. Occasionally, IGNOU extends the deadline.

There's one more thing to think about. Assignments for the July session and the January session (for the following year of that July session) are the same in IGNOU. Also, when you submit the assignments, make sure that they are the most recent available assignments for your course for the current year in which you are submitting them. For example, if you enrolled in January 2021 and did not complete the assignments in the first year, you must complete the newly available assignments for the next year, which are for the January 2022 session.

You have two options for cancelling your admission.

Send an email to your local centre.
Visit the regional centre and request that your admission be cancelled.
To find the email address of your regional centre, simply login to IGNOU and select the view address option in the regional centre column.

You will receive information about your regional centres, such as their email address and phone number.

You must include the following information in your email.

Your name
Your registration number
Your program's title
Attach your IGNOU ID and Aadhar card (or any other ID for identification, such as a voter ID) and explain why you are withdrawing.

IGNOU offers a distance B.Ed program with a duration of 3 years. For pursuing B.Ed from IGNOU, the candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria.

The candidates should have minimum marks of 50% from a bachelor's degree or master’s degree with any stream (science/commerce/arts).

The students who have successfully completed NCTE recognized teacher education courses in an offline mode can also apply.

A diploma or trained in-service teacher is now an additional elementary education required for enrollment into B.Ed program in IGNOU.

Entrance examination:

IGNOU charges a total of 50,000 amount course fees for 3 years of the B.Ed program.

Cut-off:

How do I get my IGNOU ID card after taking admission in the MA programme?

To get your IGNOU ID card you need to visit your IGNOU regional centre. You can collect it from there. The ID card should have a stamp of IGNOU on it which makes it valid. If you will download your IGNOU ID card online, it does not have the stamp making it invalid. This will be a major problem in your exams.

It is highly possible that IGNOU does not mail your card. Most of the time you will have to visit the regional centre personally to get your IGNOU ID card.

When my term-end examination will take place as I enrolled in MEG 1 IGNOU in the month of July?

Every year, IGNOU holds its TEE (Term End Examinations) in June and December.

The practical and theoretical parts of the same course must be mentioned separately in the exam form, and the fees are also separate for both. The exam fee for both theory and practical courses/papers is currently 60/- rupees.

Typically, a grace period of 10-20 days is also allowed for the submission of examination forms, with a Late Fee of around 1000/- rupees as of now. The exact end date of the grace period as well as the late fee amount are communicated separately.

If the previous examination's results have not been declared, you should include those courses in the exam form. You may also be exempt from paying the exam fee for such courses. At the time of exam form submission, confirm this with the respective study center. Please keep in mind that the assignment portion of the respective courses must be completed before submitting the exam, or your hall ticket for the examination may be withheld. You are considered an Eligible Candidate once you register for a course and complete the semester/year allotted to that course.

Once you are eligible, you can take the exam in any subsequent TEE (June or December). You can still appear in both TEEs if your course is year-based rather than semester-based. This is a major source of confusion for students enrolled in annual programs.

You may reappear for a paper as many times as necessary to pass it (mind the maximum program duration, however). If the previous examination result was not declared or if you did not receive at least 40% pass marks, you should reappear.

You cannot reappear for that course TEE once you have received the minimum required marks (typically 40%). You must complete ALL courses within the maximum time frame for the Program.
