University of Maryland Baltimore County Courses and Fees 2025

• The average number of students in class are 25. We have the flexibility to choose and schedule our class, we have to take minimum three classes per semester. The course is updated and relevant as per industry standards.

• The tuition fees of the program is 42,000 USD including the health insurance.

• Level of difficulty based on how we grasp the concept. It’s mixed of both practical and theoretical they explain in class and give us assignments and projects to work on
• Positive thing is they can help us clearing out the doubts we get through assignments and negative thing is being a new level of program it’s bit hard to understand soon enough
• On average our class is 30
• Around 120 Indian students are enrolled in my course for Fall 2022 intake

• On top of that, I spent about $200-$300 on groceries and $100-$150 on utilities and internet, bringing my monthly expenses to around $1,250-$1,800

• The course is pretty easy and doable It is more theoretical. The batch usually has 20-25 people and if you have multiple professors for the same subject, you can choose one.
• The most positive is it was easy and doable if you are not from a technical background and professors have good knowledge. The negative aspect is no practical training in the job market. 

• I am paying around $14500 every semester, the total would be around $14500 for 3 semesters and $5700 for last semester. So around $49500, I have around $600 for monthly expenses depending on if you are living single or sharing.
• It includes the grocery and everything. So around 400-450$ for rent and rest for grocery. I pay 100$ for transportation to my college which is included in the fees, other than that I don't pay much and the college is within walking distance.

• The difficulty level of the course was medium and a mix of theoretical and project. More on the theory side but depends on the course chosen.

• Positive aspects - almost every course has a hands on project to do

• Negative aspect - some courses are repetitive and gets boring as we learn the same thing again, course options are also limited

• Each semester costed around 12k dollars

• 4k per course (equivalent to 3 credits)

• Hence for 30 credits (10 courses) it costed 40k dollars total for entire masters degree

• Bill is generated before the start of each semester which need to be paid by our bank

• Monthly expense - maximum of 450$ per month,300$ rent for shared room, around 70$ a month for grocery, 50$ for wifi and gas bill

I paid my college fees through HDFC credila they accept popular payments like flywire, and US bank account transfers. Computer science has a lot of funding than any other branch in this university. The cost of living would be around 600$ per month.

Course structure is extremely good, we get several options to choose from. Each course will be of 3 credits and student will be provided with minimum of 8 courses from which they can choose their courses.

Total fees of the program will be approx 34-35 Lakh.

The curriculum is really good and very relevant to the course. One can also expand it to other fields with the help of electives.

The course is up to date, the topics discussed in class are closely related to recent events related to the topic. The course work is manageable and doesn't make the student feel overwhelmed.

My estimate for the total tuition came to around 36000 USD and I personally use around 650-700 USD for monthly expenses
