At Hopkins, off-campus housing is a popular choice, especially for juniors, seniors, and all graduate students, as the university does not provide on-campus accommodations for graduate students. Off-campus housing is considered affordable and conveniently located near the university. Typical rent ranges from $600 to $800 for a 2-bedroom, 1-bath house, while a 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment costs around $2010 total, with individual shares approximately $650 plus about $100 for utilities and WiFi shared by three people.

  • I used apartments.com to find my apartment.
  • It is off-campus.
  • My rent is 678 as it's split based on sq feet, it's 3200 for 4bed2bath. Well-equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and oven.
  • The challenges I faced were finding roommates and making sure it's safe, as Baltimore is known as the crime city
  • Speak with seniors for good advice and local house hunting
  • It's around 0.8miles far

No accommodations in campus for post graduate students, need to find off-campus.

I choose this for Locations and program curriculum, brand value, tuition fees, total cost. Very good experience considering education and training. Could improve on infrastructure and more placement activities.

I had to stay in an off campus housing which was on a walking distance from the university. I stayed in a 3 bed 2 bath apartment sharing with 2 other flatmates. The total rent for my apartment was 2010$ but my share was 650$ plus utilities and WiFi which was around 100$ total for 3 people.

My overall experience was good. I got to work part time in 3 different labs at the university and gain knowledge of new skills and techniques used in research.

University does not provide any accommodation for graduate students, we need to rent apartments on our own.

I am taking my online classes right now due to the COVID-19 situation, but I've heard that the off-campus accommodations are amazing with friendly neighborhoods.

Primarily ranking, opportunities, major, discipline, professors, had a medical school. JHU has an extremely high # of students who get into medical school also. It also was one of the few schools that I got accepted into.
