- Campus is beautiful and surrounded by friendly people
- Good agricultural program working in multiple fields such as crop production, pathology, breeding, entomology
- Good facilities like campus bus during weekdays and also pedestrian-friendly
Dislikes
- Though a good town, but not very populous so can be boring for people love vibrant and crowded surroundings
- Not much of the population diversity like NYC or Chicago
- Comparatively less stipend for a masters student in Horticulture
Scholarship
- Yes, I am a graduate research assistant at Auburn University. My monthly stipend is $1600, and my tuition is fully paid by my advisor. Many of my batchmates have received similar stipends at various other universities across the USA. The main factor is to contact different professors before applying, share your research interests, and go through their interviews.
- If they tell you to apply, then you should do so. I believe if your BSc GPA is above 8.0/10 and you are reaching out to faculty members in the USA, your chances of obtaining a scholarship increase.

Overview
Positives: They have good programs for machine learning and data science. There are a good amount of professors who work on various research. It's great to coordinate with them. Other than computer science, we can take courses in mathematics, statistics, or computer engineering. All are of great quality. Good funding options. They have a decent career fair option. Atlanta (a nearby city) has a lot of software companies. Auburn has a lot of computer science and AI clubs. This could help a student to improve his skills.
Scholarship
No, I haven't received any scholarship. But, in my university, there are 2-3 possibilities for getting full-fee funding. 1. Getting a TA from the department. Should contact Dr. Xiao Qin (xqin@auburn.edu), Asst. Department chair. Also, before that, the student should get at least volunteer research work from any professor. Only MS thesis students will be awarded funding. 2. Getting an RA from professors. Could cover 2 years of funding. Not mandatory to choose the MS thesis option. 3. Contact the RFID lab (https://rfid.auburn.edu/) to get any job opportunities. The students will be funded (both academic fees and monthly salary)
Overview
It was close to home. Also, their nursing program had great reviews and it was new. I wanted to be near home but far enough to enjoy the college experience. I'm able to visit my family every other weekend.
