Arizona State University Medicine Programs

Arizona State University’s Medicine Courses provide in-depth scientific knowledge, research opportunities and hands-on learning opportunities. Students have the opportunity to learn directly from health care providers who are currently practicing in the field, and they can select clinically related internships or electives. These programs integrates communication, ethics, critical thinking, teamwork and leadership --- all essential competencies for members of today's health care teams.

Students will be able to: 

• Manage and treat common health problems, such as infections, influenza or pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
• Provide and manage long-term, comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment of diseases, for adult patients in an office or hospital, etc...
