  • Sports events take place throughout the summer. Various events at the state and international level are conducted across Lewis and other campuses.

  • My friend helps me with my accommodation. However, there is a Telegram group of Lewis that can help find a stay.
  • My monthly rent was $300 as it was a shared accommodation with no parking. I had to pay separately for parking.
  • Thankfully I had no challenges for my initial arrival; later I changed my stay using Telegram references. Always use the Telegram channel of Lewis to find students. Accommodation was not too far from Lewis, around 6 miles.

  •  I found  my accommodation through LinkedIn.
  • Rent is around 300-600 depends on the occupancy. The rooms will be furnished, laundry, included. The utilities will cost around 100-200
  • I didn't have any difficulty finding accommodation.
  • But i would suggest to Join the WhatsApp and telegram groups and you can easily secure the accommodation.
  • IMy accommodation was 15min away and most students stay in the highpoint community drive , which is close to the college.

  • Off campus and my accommodation is 5 miles away from campus which will take me 10 mins drive and monthly it costs me 500$ as i share 2 BHK with 3 others the challenges will be security deposit and transportation to college.
  • It 's better be on campus but its costly to be on campus it costs you around 20000$ per year for accommodation on campus but if you stay off campus you need to buy car or at-least have  a roommate who has one.

  • Lewis had 2 campuses and my classes were mostly on the Oakbrook campus. The main campus is in Romeville. While the Oakbrook campus is nothing much more than some classrooms, a computer lab, a sit-out, and a cafeteria. The Romeoville campus is damn huge.
  • It has an airport that is used for aviation students and it has so many undergrads. If you have a stable financial source and nice student employment. You could easily land a nice date. Students are very jovial. I used to play table tennis with this group of undergraduates. Had fun.

  • First, my brother gave me accommodation.
  • Then his friend in downtown helped to find some and then I moved with my brother's friend and after that we found a place up north by Devon (Chicago) in Facebook Marketplace. After that, we found a great a little bit south, like 7 blocks from a guy I met at a liquor store but your best bet would be the Sulekha website for Desi and Facebook Marketplace.

  • I found my accommodation through WhatsApp groups, which I highly recommend.
  • My rent was $350, excluding utilities, which were around $380–$400. The main challenge was finding good roommates.
  • Most Lewis University students live in Naperville (25 mins), Romeoville (15 mins), or Devon (1 hour). I recommend joining reliable WhatsApp groups for housing.

I lived off campus at home. Lewis University is mostly a commuter college and I did not know how the housing structure works on campus. Most people who lived there were athletes from out of town. Overall it seemed okay.

It was close to home and they offered the programs I was interested in taking. They also offered competitive pricing and scholarships for any new student. Lewis University is pretty well known in the Chicagoland area.
