What Students Say
Likes
- The course curriculum is one of the best I've come across
- The Project Management tie ups with the PMI Chicagoland, which no other universities have that.
- The free shuttle service for going out, going to other campus, Chicago city tours etc
Dislikes
- The email responses are at times very slow
- Not many on campus opportunities
- Teaching assistantships not being available for few programs
Course Curriculum
- The difficulty level is medium with theory and practical both at a good pace.
- Positives aspect can be - course curriculum, responsiveness of the professors
- Negatives aspect can be - very limited professors in Project Management
- The Classes can be any day from Monday - Friday and the timings would be from 6pm - 10pm.
- The average student size would be from 15 - 20 and 50% of them would be indians
Admission Experience
- The colleges i applied to was : NJIT, Webster,
Clarke, Florida institute of Technology, Lewis University. - All the above colleges i mentioned, i received the admit , there were no rejections.
- Nowhere rejected as I have a good academic score.
1. I chose because of the course curriculum and the PMP certification waiver(2 years study requirement waiver for Lewis University students). The tie ups with the Project Management institutions that the college have
2. Nothing much. Just apply, provide the financials and you are good to go.
3. I've given Duolingo and PTE but i guess they considered Duolingo. I've got 130 in Duolingo. I don't know the minimum requirement
4. Not much challenges in the admission process but once got the admission and visa was approved, the admission was deferred due to overflow of admission, which was ridiculous. - I applied for Fall. Fall is an ideal intake and the timeline will be good and regular if you start for Fall
It did really take around a month and its pretty simple, i directly got the admit and once i accepted it, I got the I20
It was very simple and i must recommend the students who are thinking to study abroad in future to opt for fall intake.
Faculty
- 13:1 is the faculty-to-student ratio in my course , so we can easily interact with the teacher.
- The teaching methodology of my faculty members was great, Yes, the course content along with the capstone is enough to prepare for the job.
- Network with the faculty and they would definitely help you find the job, but it really depends on the professors again
- I admire Matthew Gier, he's so much into project management with real time experience in some top notch companies. He's friendly but not so liberal in terms of grading. He's classes are so interesting.

- The other on campus jobs wage is Around $13-15 per hour, in IT, admission and cafeteria etc***
- 20 hours is the maximum hours of work allowed per week .
- It's very easy to secure on campus part time jobs.
