  • Courses in demand got filled up pretty quickly with a huge class size. null
  • TA ship opportunities are rarely available in the 1st sem .

I chose this university as being a well reputed and a state college, the fees was nominal. It is located in the RTP area, which is a growing hub for tech industries in the East coast. Weather is one other factor. Placements are pretty good. Coursework is of industry interest and professors are well known.

Yes, SOP, 3 LOR and CV needs to be submitted. Need to include work experience, research interests, projects done and why do you need admission in this college "Its one of the top three textile colleges globally. Renowned for its state-of-the-art laboratories and cutting-edge facilities, it embodies a commitment to pioneering research and the exploration of innovative technologies within the textile industry.d My experience at college has been exceptional. With top-notch facilities, supportive professors, and a vibrant campus life, it's been an enriching journey. The curriculum is up-to-date, offering practical insights and industrial exposure. Accommodation options are comfortable and affordable, while post-study placement opportunities are promising. Overall, it's been a fulfilling and rewarding experience preparing me for a successful career in the textile industry.

Need to submit SoP, 3 LORs, CV and no interview, Income documents, Transcripts. NCSU ranks no. 1 globally for Textiles and it has very good research facilities. I definitely recommend this college my overall experience is good, if you're non CS students you can definitely try for Assistantship, and there are multiple scholarship opportunities and on-campus part-time opportunities are good but on average remuneration for on-campus part-time is $10

  • things which almost every university has in common, few professors which somewhat lack in their skills, though having good in-depth knowledge in their respective fields. Students might complain about the heavy coursework the CE department has to offer, but it's all needed. null

It's is really good, I would recommend it to everyone. this college has given the most challenging and grinding semesters but a really worth it experience.

  • Since it is not a very well ranked university, the perception in the industry is not great. A lot of companies do hire grads from NCSU but being here won't cause any harm nor will boost your profile a lot. Academically, many professors are on the top of their respective research fields, and contribute very heavily to the research, however, you can find some professors who might not be able to put across their points very effectively in the class, and thus would require extra effort from students. null
  • None of these points though appeared a deal breaker for me. Some majors are quite involving, so you might not get a lot of time to explore activities outside of academics. null

Personally, the experience has been great. A lot of opportunities to explore new avenues, challenging but relevant curriculum, practical exposure through projects and assignments, and a good standing in the industry. Furthermore, direct interaction with industry leaders through e-partner program is a bonus. 2022-2023 market situation has been testing, but NCSU still appears a great choice if one is into AI/ML or Systems.

I have had a friend in the past go to this college and they had all the goods things to say about it. The application fee was waived for me which made me want to apply. I also read that this was one of the highest-rated schools and it seemed like a good place to start my higher education. I know that it may be a hard school to get into but with my educational background and positive attitude, I knew that I could make it in and I did.

They offered good programs for almost every type of major and interest. They have pretty expansive study abroad programs that were easy to apply for, as studying abroad was important to me to be able to experience. They also provided me with the most financial aid.

Personally, it was because I would only have to pay their in-state tuition. Additionally, they had good science programs in chemistry, biology, and botany. Additionally, it has one of the biggest student population in North Carolina.
