Likes:
- Research facilities - some of the best in the world .
- Infrastructure - easily accessible buildings, well connected with the city, spacious .
- Curriculum - there is something for everyone .
- Diversity - liberal, LGBTQ friendly .
Dislikes:
- Community- Personally, I would have liked more outreach support .
- Segregation fees- In spite of having a stipend, we had to pay segregation fees which can be financially demanding .
I chose this university because of following factors- 1. Funding in the form of a TA position 2. Opportunity to delve into an exciting field of research (AI in smart manufacturing) 3. One of the top 150 universities in the world. Overall, it is challenging at times, it was an invigorating and rewarding experience and equipped me with a diverse set of skills from AI to biomechanics.
