Hamptons University International Admissions

International students must fulfill the following additional requirements before submitting an application except for the other requirements. Also, they have to carefully review their visa process.

Admission Requirements

  • All the academic records/transcripts from the previously attended institution(s).
    • Certified by the institution's office registrar.
    • Sent directly from the issuing institute a stamped and sealed envelope.
    • Official transcripts that are not in English, must be accompanied along with the certified English translation.
  • Standardized test (SAT OR ACT for undergraduate admissions)
  • GRE/GMAT exam scores as per program requirement.
  • Proof of English proficiency for non-native English speakers.
  • At least one Letter of recommendation is mandatory.
  • An updated resume consisting of professional experience and educational qualifications.
  • Letter of Intent or Statement of purpose or short essay which highlights an applicant’s career objective and future goals.

Please note that students with a GPA of at least 3.3 have the option of not submitting standardized test scores (only SAT or ACT).

Visa Requirements for International Students

  • Issued Form I-20 from the university
  • Applicants will need to provide the following documents to receive the Form I-20:
    • Copy of passport
    • Proof of financial support
    • Bank statement
    • Sponsor letter, if applicable
  • Complete the I-20.
  • Applicants then need to apply for the F-1 visa.

Hampton University English Language Test Requirements

International students must demonstrate English language proficiency by providing scores of any one of the following tests given below, to be eligible for admission.

Hamptons University Undergraduate Admissions
