26 June 2025: Purdue University Northwest has updated its Cost of Attendance (COA) for the 2025–2026 academic year. For international UG students, the new annual estimated cost is $20,190 (~INR 17.33 lakhs), while for graduate students, the updated cost is $12,349 (~INR 10.61 lakhs). This covers full-time enrolment (12–18 credit hours per semester) for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Check programs.

English Language Proficiency Test Score
All those applicants who come from countries whose native language is not English are required to prove their proficiency in English by submitting their IELTS, TOEFL, or other accepted test scores. The minimum requirements for admission in different undergraduate courses are given below.

Visa Process for International Students
The students have to obtain a Study Visa for the USA to study there.
- The university will issue the I- 20 form to the selected applicants.
- Following documents have to be submitted by the students to obtain I- 20 to the admission office :

- After completion of the I- 20, students will be required to pay the SEVIS I- 901 fees of USD 200.

I chose Purdue University Northwest (PNW) as it is a part of Purdue System and master level programs are maintained by The Graduate School - Purdue University throughout 4 campuses. The tuition and fees is very less, one can easily afford and you get top quality education by great educators. Other factors that excited me - this campus is just 45 minutes away from Chicago which makes easy to search jobs, internships and as well as able to socialize with people.

Purdue University Northwest is a college that offers a good education at an affordable price. I watched my brother complete his engineering education there and was inspired mostly by his example. This college was also close to home.
