English Language Proficiency Requirements
International applicants from countries where English is not the primary language must submit one of the accepted English language proficiency test scores for admission. The minimum score requirements for admission are as follows:

Visa Process for International Students
- Candidates after their successful admission are required to log in to MAVzone, the online portal for enrolled students which helps in further admission procedures.
- After receiving the I-20 form, an interview for a visa needs to be scheduled at the U.S. embassy.
- The SEVIS I-901 fees must be paid before the visa interview.
- It must be noted that visa applications can be submitted only 120 days before the program start date.

Once the University receives completed applications, students will be notified regarding the admission decision via email. An admission decision can be expected within 1-2 weeks after completing the application file. It is not mandatory to submit all documents at the same time. However, it is preferred for timely processing of applications. During the admission process, international students must provide immunization records and enroll in a Colorado Mesa University international student group health insurance plan. Accepted students can confirm their intent to enroll by paying 50 USD online that will be adjusted towards the tuition fees.
