Texas A&M University at Galveston residential community houses more than 1200 residents including domestic and international students in 3 residence halls. Students can apply for housing by submitting an application to the housing portal with an application fee of 75 USD to reserve their spot in the residence halls.

Texas A&M University, Galveston Scholarships/Financial Aids
International freshmen can apply for international freshmen scholarship through ApplyTexas Application or Coalition application before December 1. The SAT/ACT test scores are considered for the review process.
Texas A&M University (TAMUG) also grants scholarships for international transfer and continuing students. Texas A&M University Galveston students are, however, not eligible for International Texas Public Education Grants and International Student Financial aid.
- International students can also qualify for International Student Financial Aid Application depending on their visa status. Completion of the application does not necessarily guarantee aid. The priority deadline to apply is May 1.
- International Texas Public Education Grant (ITPEG) is administered by the State of Texas to provide financial assistance to bachelor’s, graduate, and professional degree students. Students can apply through ISFAA for the session 2021-2022 by late January 2021.
- Students can also take up short loans financed by Texas A&M University former students. The interest rate is 8% per annum with $10 processing charges in each loan amount. The application can be accessed here.

Work-Study Program:
Students enrolled for a minimum of 6 hours of credit during fall and spring semesters, with a minimum CGPA 2.0, are eligible for on-campus work-study programs. They can work up to 20 hrs/week during the fall/spring semester and up to 40 hrs/week during break and summer months. All Texas A&M University student employment are handled online through the workday system.
