- It had a warm atmosphere for international students, upon arrival the international office graduates helped us to integrate in the environment
- Findlay was one of the top rated micropolitan community of USA so students always felt safe
- The university offered many assistantship programs for international students
Dislikes
- Food options on campus get limited sometimes
- It takes time to acclimatize to cold weather
- As a student I got homesick at times
Placement
- It depends on the choice of students whether they want to apply for a work permit. I have seen almost 90 percent securing employment within six months.
- Salary ranges from 60,000 to 80,000.
- A student has to use multiple methods; internships are one of the most sought-after and popular methods. Every semester there are on-campus job fairs; many opportunities come from them too. The employment cell in the university helps you to craft a CV and apply for jobs.
- My batchmates are mainly working in the IT sector at companies like AT&T, Walmart, and CVS pharmacy.
- There are no direct hires from major companies; it all depends on the students' profile.
- I found my accommodation through campus listings.
- The monthly rent initially when I stayed off campus was 250 which included utilities, laundry and parking. The apartment was equipped with a fridge and microwave.
- I would recommend not getting stressed out about accommodation. The university helps international students with it and they have tie-ups with local landlords.
- My first accommodation was a 5-minute walk away from the university.
- I did not face any challenges securing a place to stay. I got it on the second day upon arrival. This kind of information is given during orientation.

- People, Staff in the university are very generous towards international students.
- I was able to learn new skills that were lacking in my profile.
- I was able to perform well in my academics and received Student of the Year award
Dislikes
- Lack of scholarships for international students.
- No research work done by professors for getting RA positions.
- Very few On campus jobs, not everyone gets a opportunity to work on campus.
Placement
- It changes from year to year and the current job market. Most of the students prefer to go to a consulting firm to get a job. Very few apply for their full-time positions and none of the organisations in Findlay hire international students because of the paperwork and visa restrictions we have. Moving to the bigger cities within the state or moving out of the state is the only chance of getting hired.
- We do have job fairs held twice a year but organisations are inclined towards citizens and other departments. Technology students have zero chances of getting jobs through campus fairs.
- We can get jobs with a starting salary range of $70k per year and can go up to $120k. Most of the students get hold of consulting firms to get jobs. There are students who are still looking for jobs even after 1 year of graduation. Learning skills that are required for the roles that they apply is highly important.
- I was fortunate enough to get accommodation during my first week in Findlay. I was staying temporarily at a place and happened to find resources where I can find accommodation. I happened to check with them and found the accommodation.
- I stay in a three-bedroom house with four more students, and my monthly rent share is $240 excluding groceries, Wi-Fi, and transportation. I would recommend future students get in touch with students who are currently studying or even graduated from Findlay to get help. Our accommodation is provided by the university; all the utilities are included in the rent, and we don't have to pay separately for electricity, gas, and trash.

It is pocket friendly and wonderful University it is one of the best universities in usa and friendly teaching experience
A friend of mine attended and I have loved it ever since. I wish I knew how expensive it was going to be and how difficult it was to get a room to yourself, but academics make up for it. Our programs and the information and opportunities given to you make it all worth it.
