What Students Say
Likes
- I like that student to professor ratio is lower.
- I like that the campus strength is not too much.
- There is campus transportation that is easily available.
I always wanted to do a master's, and I am passionate about AI, and US is well known for this course, so researched and applied to 5 colleges and got into 3, out of these colleges, I considered a lot of factors and decided to go to University of Michigan-Dearborn due to various reasons.
Course Curriculum
It is very important, that course curriculum matters because of the prerequisites of some courses, and it is preferable to have a bachelor's degree in the same subject as a master's.
Faculty
When I joined this college, I didn't really know any faculties personally and still am not that close with any, but they do offer research and teaching assistantships.
Campus Life
There are 3 campuses and I am on 2nd campus, I do like the academics and extracurriculars as well, there are events going on every day, all the time so it is fun.
Placement
There are good research opportunities in my college but I am not very aware of the placement situations as I just started my semester.
Accommodation
I am living outside the campus in a community, it is very easy to find accommodation and there are college dorms too, so it depends on the budget and your choice.
Exams
- GRE: 310, TOEFL: 100, GPA: 7/10, Some Certifications, Some Projects - State Board 10th - 10 GPA, State Board 12th - 9.94, UG - 8.46 - Requirements: I submitted an SOP and 3 LORs, be authentic in the SOP, make it personal for every university, and LORs depend on your courses and faculty, so that is case-dependent.
Fees
It's around 50 lakhs without the scholarship, with a scholarship it is around 35 lakhs for masters.
