Campus and Accommodation

  • The campus of the Beloit college is spread over 47 acres and is located in an urban setting.
  • With just a 10 minutes’ walk from campus to the downtown and 45 minutes’ drive to the state capital, Madison, the institute has always been the blooming town and the living history of many of the blue collared workers.
  • The city is home to many Global Companies such as ABC Supply.
  • Beloit college entails over 60 student organizations working towards different fields and causes. These organizations are free to join by the students of the university
  • The Beloit College campus features Advanced Research Technology labs, Neese Performing Art center, Logan Museum of Anthropology, a 25-acre stadium and sports complex, The Centre of Entrepreneurship in Liberal Education at Beloit and not to mention the Hendricks Centers for Arts.

Housing facilities/Residence

  • Beloit College offers both the On-Campus as well as Off-Campus housing options to its students. The freshmen students are required to stay on the campus until the senior year. Approximately, 96% of the students live on campus

  • As such they have to choose from the Traditional Residence Halls which consists of 609 Hall, Aldrich Hall, Brannon Hall, and Maurer Hall.
  • Apart from these, other Residential Halls offered by Beloit College are Special-interest House, Greek Houses and Upper-level Student Houses.
  • In Special-interest Houses, students with common interests live together as a community although the First years aren’t allowed in the Special-interest houses. Available spaces in Special Interest Houses are Anthropology house, Beloit Science Fiction, and Fantasy Association, Black Student United, Feminist collective and French house.
  • There are three Sororities and Fraternities at Beloit College which are leased from the College by the organization. And the members of these Sororities and Fraternities reside in the Greek Houses.
  • In Upper-level student housing, students who are in their sophomore, junior or senior years reside. The allocation of the rooms is done on a Lottery basis in this housing system. Available Halls at Upper-level housing are 815 Halls, Blaisdell Hall, Bushnell Hall, Clary Apartments, Emerson Apartments, Haven Hall, Moore Townhouses, Peet Hall, Porter Hall, Whitney Hall, and Wood Hall.
  • Single, Twin and Triple Sharing options are available in either of the housing options. Although amenities and facilities vary from Hall to hall and apartment to apartment as well.

  • The Beloit college offers a range of courses for international students including 48 programs at the bachelor level in various fields of education .

Scholarships/Financial Aid

  • International students are not eligible for need-based or federal loans and scholarships. However, merit based scholarships for international students to study in the USA are offered by the institution.

Work While You Study

Students at Beloit College can work On-Campus while pursuing their studies at the College. However, they must be wary of certain conditions while being an On-Campus employee outlined by the College, which are:

  • Students aren’t allowed to work for more than 20 hours/week when the College is in session.
  • Students will need to register at the Payroll office of the College and complete some important paperwork before they start working.
  • Students will be required to file taxes every spring year with the Internal Revenue Services.
