FAQs

Ques. Can I change my mind and go back off-campus or join campus after the semester starts?

Ans. A housing contract that starts in the fall is a contract for the academic year. A student who for extraordinary reasons needs to leave housing should request to break their housing contract with Residence Life but there is no guarantee this will be accepted. A student who wishes to enter housing mid-semester should contact Residence Life. It is unknown if due to COVID19 we will be able to allow a mid-semester entry into Residence Life. Assuming COVID-19 conditions permit, students who choose to stay off-campus in the fall may enter a housing contract for the spring semester.

Ques. What types of research are permissible?

Ans. Online research and digital data collection that do not require person-to-person contact may continue as planned. This includes online surveys and interviews conducted via Zoom or other secure video software.

Ques. I am an On-Campus student coming from a Quarantine County

Ans. If the student is arriving on August 9, he/ she needs to be tested before they move into the residence hall. Testing is available between 10am and 2 pm on this day. The student is required to arrive at testing by 1:30pm. He/ she will also need to be tested on August 16.
