Yenepoya college experience

Likes

I am impressed by the ambiance at my college. we have good classes with AC and wifi available.
This college have knowledgeable professors who are interested in their student's success.
They provide good education with modern specialization like artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital forensic etc.

Dislikes

They don't have their own place to conduct a program.
College does not have a good playground.

Life in yenepoya

Likes

Well furnished building and studying environment which helps in concentration
The college is located in an it hub , and the space around is clean and tidy
The faculties are well understanding and helpful

Dislikes

The holidays are less comparing to other colleges
The fees are comparatively higher than other colleges
The syllabus of the course is Mostly basic

The curriculum is so basic so real life application is not very practical enough, the exams are so often .the interval between the exams are very short. They need to increase the gap between the exams and use a difficult curriculum

The college infastructure is good and the atmosphere is also good for studying
The faculty's and teaching methods are understanding and helpful
The classrooms are air conditioned and its smart classroom also it has placements from big companys such as ibm and etc

Dislikes

Each classroom has 140 members which feels liitle bit of uncomfortable
It does not have playground so students cant play
It does not have a collage atmosphere it is more like a office and it only has 3 floor on an ibm building

The exams are easy and tuff depends on the subject but the timing of the exams are complicated since they are changing the timing often which make students hard for studying and the gap for studying is also less which also is hard for students.

First, the infrastructure is really good that feels different from other universities
Second, the faculties are excellent and talented ones. Their teaching are good that almost every students can clearly understand.
Third, the effectiveness of the placement services and special training for that is really worth it. Classes have been arranged for the knowledge for placements and all.

Dislikes

The way they scheduling some college events and programs are not good enough, they need to improvise it like the student's need also
The time for the classes should be increased, so students feel like working hard more
Even some faculties are good, some are not good enough for the students, the way they teach or make the students understand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course after so much research and things. I was planning to find my career in the computer field so after 10th, I took computer science then I wanted to search a course depending on how this world is right now and what is my scope to get into the IT developing world. So I chose this. Now I am in the second semester. So as far as I can see now, this BCA degree is not that difficult for me. And with specialization, it is a good degree to persue my career. It's so enjoyable to learn new things about the computer applications. Teaching methods needs to be improvised with more practical and new sessions. There are 2 internal exams, for each exam with 1 hour duration. It's rather simple. And then the practical and sem examination with 2 hour duration. With good dedication and studying, it's simple to score excellent marks.

The summer after the rain

Likes

I liked the infrastructure and faculties.Our collage provide a good computer lab and provide good sports facilities.
The infrastructure they provide is excellent classrooms
We have fully air conditioned classrooms and a nice cafeteria for refreshment.

Dislikes

I disliked our collage management.They do not have a proper decision about our academics.
We dont have a good ground in the collage.They provide only a small turf.
The securities of the collage also is very bad.They treat us like slaves

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it provide good knowledge in computer and we can improve our coding skills easily.The curriculum is nice but they make the exams fast and we dont get enough time to study.They have to interact with students and they have to improve their teaching methods.The course is complicated but some faculties teach easy methods to code and we can study easily.

Colours of my life

Likes

I have experience a better environment in this university
The faculties and other infrastructure are so useful for us to study
The computer labs in the university are far more better than any other colleges

Dislikes

University management is very strict in their fee payment issues so many students who face financial issues are in big trouble
University is not paying enough attention to our health as they are not providing enough quantity and quality food
Faculties are not so attendive in taking attendence and other cultural activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects that changed my decision to choose this course was the college that is proving tons of industry leading partners that are tech giants like IBM and MICROSOFT. They are providing us real world hands on experience on many projects. We need some improvements in our practical teaching from the faculties that they are going so slow.The frequency and difficulty level is moderate that every student can attend

The infrastructure of yenepoya university is best ,they have high tech class with ac and wifi and looking like a international company
Yenepoya university have collaborations with many international companies like tcs, microsoft and ibm
They weekly providing ibm classes to develop our skills in our courses

Dislikes

There is no campus life and no facilitues like ground, volleyball cot, basket ball cort etc and only 2 floor like a tution center
Very strict in everything like uniform, studies and dress cord on friday must wear formals
In yenepoya, they have lift in ground floor but they didnt provide lift to students and we need to enter college through fire exit

Ambience is very nice and fantabulous thing i ever seen

Likes

I really liked about the environment and the place where the college is situated its really good and peacefull
The next thing is about the faculty,they all are very qualified and skillful in teaching. they have a very good skill in communication and conversation

Dislikes

There are some back things in our college some of them are they doest have a vast campus but the one we have now is ok
Our college dont have any other problems its only these are something we can say
The other thing is they dont have a ground but they are going to buy one soon so it will be ok in upcoming years

Placement Experience:

There are college placements in here,after 5th semester there are interviews who have scored good in there previous semester can get to take the interview, they prepare us for this and we can have a nice job , the companies assisting are the IBM, TCS and microsoft these are the companies assosated with bca in this college
