My View on Yenepoya University, Bangalore Campus

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Many companies visit yenepoya for various offers. I think the average offer placed as of now is 4LPA. And I am not sure about the percentage of students getting places. I plan to take up mba after completing my bca degree

Placement Experience:

As I said earlier they are in tie up with companies like IBM,TCS and other multinational companies they offer a 100% campus placement. IBM visits college frequently and they'll know who is performing better and they'll give campus placements according to our skills. I think we'll get placements from the end of second year onwards. As Yenepoya's campus is a new campus we are the first batch to study in this campus so don't know further information on placements but as per Yenepoya mangalore there a lot of placements yearly. After BCA I'm wishing to take MBA.

Placement Experience:

As i have only started my course for only 1 year i am not sure about the placement details. They are promising good placement for everyone which I am not sure about the placement process. I think we should score about 8(CGP) then only we would be placed in good hospitals with great stipend.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester i think students are eligible for placements. There is IBM, TCS, Microsoft, wipro, amazon, etc.. In partnership with yenepoya. So the average package is 3 LPA. Highest package will be above 12 lakhs. After getting bca degree i need to go for masters MCA. There are somany students getting placements in magalore campus. Banglore campus is just started.

Placement Experience:

There are college placements in here,after 5th semester there are interviews who have scored good in there previous semester can get to take the interview, they prepare us for this and we can have a nice job , the companies assisting are the IBM, TCS and microsoft these are the companies assosated with bca in this college

Placement Experience:

They said they will provide 100% placement since we are the first batch of yenepoya deemed to be university Bangalore off campus, I don't know how to expect the placement.but I'm sure there will be good placement

Placement Experience:

The placement they said is 100% since we are the first batch in yenepoya University Bangalore off campus I'm not sure about the placement but I'm sure they'll provide us with great placement. Maybe they'll also provide us with internship. From 4th semester companies will come to our college offering placements. IBM,TSC, Microsoft etc are the companies offering placements

Likes

The infrastructure is really great because our college is in corporate company, so we obviously have to maintain that kind of a discipline there
The faculties are friendly, not all the facilities are friendly, but most of the faculties are young, which is like five or six years older than us, so we obviously can maintain a friendly character with them
The principal is really funny and friendly, but when it’s professional things, he’s really serious

Dislikes

Some of the teachers don’t actually know about so I have to blame some teachers for not even having the common sense are teaching
We don’t get a campus life since we are in a corporate, so we don’t get to actually have the college life that other students are getting in a campus
The securities, there are really controlling. They are like the teachers. Like securities there. Some of them

Internships Opportunities:

have absolutely no idea about the internship opportunities in my college because in 2nd year. I don't have any internship. The college said that internship programs are starting from the third year, so I still have two semesters away from the internship programs. As of now. I have no idea about the internship.

The marketing and the reality

Likes

Good cafeteria,it is a good place to chill when we don't have classes
Good security since there are too many securities deployed everywhere
There used to be bean bags and chairs everywhere to relax but it is not there now

Dislikes

Not enough class rooms for students to sit, we have to check for available classes ourselves before each lecture
Poorly made syllabus, it is not specific to the courses we have opted and they change the syllabus in between the semester
Not enough staffs to teach a large amount of students

Internships Opportunities:

We have internship in every semester but we go there just to observe. we can't do anything else. the internship places are so far away and they won't give any traveling allowance to facility for us to reach there. we have to travel around 2-3 hours everyday
