Ques. Is NEET required for B.Pharm admission at SGRRU?
Ans. NEET is not required for B.Pharm admission at SGRRU. The course follows merit-based admission on the basis of PCI guidelines. Admission is primarily based on your 10+2 marks in PCB/PCMB subjects. However, some pharmaceutical colleges may accept NEET scores as an alternative qualification. SGRRU's B.Pharm program is designed to be accessible to science graduates with PCB/PCMB subjects who have secured minimum 50% marks in their 12th standard. Ques. What is the admission fee and is it refundable?
Ans. The admission fee for B.Pharm at SGRRU is ₹5,000, which is non-refundable. Additionally, there is a registration fee of ₹1,000 (also non-refundable) that must be paid during the online or offline registration process. The security deposit of ₹5,000 is refundable at the end of the course upon completion of all formalities and return of college property. The first semester total fee (including admission fee, tuition fee, exam fee, security deposit, and other charges) is approximately ₹105,539 for Uttarakhand domicile students and ₹108,975 for other state domicile students. Payment can be made online through credit card, debit card, UPI, or internet banking. The university does not accept cash or cheques for fee payment.
Ques. Can I pursue B.Pharm if I have Mathematics instead of Biology in 12th?
Ans. Yes, you can pursue B.Pharm at SGRRU if you have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as your subjects. The eligibility criteria allows PCB or PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) combinations. However, if you have only PCM without Biology, you should verify with the university as some institutions prefer PCB. If you have taken only PCM, you can still apply and check with the admission office. Alternatively, if you are interested in pharmacy but don't have the required subject combination, you may need to consider other institutions or pursue a diploma in pharmacy first and then pursue B.Pharm through lateral entry if available.
