Likes

Some of the teachers are very god with their understanding being top notch
In our college the placements start at the end of 6th semester and the opportunities are very good many good companies like cisco cognizant etc offer jobs in our college and prety good no.
You can also get free gym and gym is nice .

Dislikes

In first year rules for students are too strict and students are threatened to lose their marks or attendance if they don't follow what teacher asks them to do
There are no events or fests that take place, which is quite boring
The hostel management and food provided is still not taken care of, the major backlash for the college is their girls hostel

I like the environment of our university.
Our college have many different courses.

The placement in this college is pretty good as compare to the other college in mysore
The environment is good full of greenary
No ragging in this College it's compalsary to every college

Dislikes

Correction will be very strict it is not bad but somewhat not so good

Placement Experience:

Students can be eligible for the placement after 4th semester if they are good in certain course which company needed so there communication must be good with the placement officer cgpa average should be more than 7.5

I liked the way the college start admission process
I liked the overall college campus due its greenary

Placement Experience:

Placements are very good in our college. Highest package is about 52 lakh per annum for circuit branches. Moreover its a campus selection or campus placements More number of companies will hier more number of students.

The placements are good and the exposure is also pretty good, the college allows students to explore new opportunities within campus.
The college provides opportunities to go to USA as well
The teaching is extremely good compared to other colleges

Dislikes

The hostel management and food provided is still not taken care of, the major backlash for the college is their girls hostel
There are no events or fests that take place, which is quite boring
The on campus rules are not so solution oriented

Placement Experience:

College placements are the best part about joining JSS STU, there are many companies coming in for on campus selection, many internship opportunities offered from 1st year only and they train students very well

HONEST OPINION WITH BOTH PROS AND CONS

Likes

Has the best campus beautiful environment
Equipped with all latest technology required

Dislikes

few teachers are not qualified for teaching they have done their masters but they have no teaching skills only some of them
Syllabus is outdated like for subject ecommerce a text book from 2005 is taught which has no new updates

Placement Experience:

The employability comes down to student skills as of now my classmates have not developed their skill and will suffer in the near future so the college can't be blamed for not getting them a job but if a student has skills then he will be employed by good companies there are campus selection

The life of a student at JSSSTU mysuru, in detail pros and cons

Likes

The campus size is very huge and well built all the places have proper connectivity.
There are a really large number of clubs in the college and there is no limit for joining groups, all the group members encourage and appreciate efforts of other clubs too and even support them when needed
There is proper parking space for numerous people brining numerous types of vehicle, there is no restriction for vehicles of students.

Dislikes

Too strict rules when it comes to first year students and their adaptation to college
Less number of washrooms available in the buildings

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement for the 7th semester The companies that visited the campus in mechanical branch include Toyota Mercedes Tata motors jindhal mrf The companies visiting the cs branch include Microsoft Wipro TCS Infosys L and T, VISA, Siemens etc Almost over 90% of students get placed in very well companies and at a decent package

Is JSSSTU (SJCE) Is good Option

Likes

First thing is liked was the campus and the green environment
Second thing is the faculties most of the faculties are good in their field
Third one is out seniors and student clubs

Dislikes

Some of the faculties are rude and very strict (only few faculties)
I am computer science so computer science branch is strict compared to other branches
The infrastructure is old some bathroom not clean that much

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Average package: 12-14 LPA. Highest package: 54LPA. Package details depend on the company your course and your performance. a high placement rate, with figures like 75-80% or even 90%. Our college don't talk about this some of the faculties are shared with us. I am planning to go abroad

Flexible class timings and syllabus is not too heavy
Nice student friendly environment and no ragging
Nice campus and has good infrastructure.

Dislikes

Events are less and not flexible with holidays
Shortage of class rooms and projectors due to strength
Hostel food quality is good but not much variety available

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester. More than 200 companies visited for placement and highest placement is 57 lpa and average is 12-14 lpa and 75-80% students get placed every year.

first of all i liked the huge campus and infrastruture as compared to other colleges in COMEDK it has huge campus area of 102 acres
i liked the college library and reference section that is provided because it provides all the books and have a place where u can sit and read
i like the clubs in this because it provide varies no. of clubs and they plan different event all the time like workshops and all recently aerojc club went to us for representing india

Dislikes

i really hate the hectic college timetable i got 7 classes and of 32 h of class h in a week that is very hectic
i didnt like some of the teachers attitude cause like if they have knowledge they cant express it and if they dont they will potrey they have a lot

I like the computer science and business system because along with the technical knowledge it provides the communication aspect because of various and regular presentation that we have to do . and also there are various marketing subject too that also help in knowing how to maket product and all

i liked the overall management of the college and how things get done in the college
a very rich campus with good environment no ragging
some of the teachers are very god with their understanding being top notch

Dislikes

The examinations are pretty close for each sem and students donot get enough time to completely encompass the semester
The evaluations are pretty clumsy in a way that most of the times students dont get the results they expect
Teacher student interaction is not very good most students dont like the majority of the teachers

Placement Experience:

In our college the placements start at the end of 6th semester and the opportunities are very good many good companies like cisco cognizant etc offer jobs in our college and prety good no. of offers are given every year highest ctc is increasing every year the previous highest being 45lpa and almost 90% students get placed.I plan to study abroad after getting the degree
