The hostel for GOI students at Guwahati campus, as per institute norms, has recently shifted inside the campus and features well-built infrastructure with six floors. A terrace is off-limits to students. The hostel provides multi-seater accommodations with specific arrangements: flats with 4 rooms and 2 washrooms for 7-8 girls, and potentially for 4-5 boys due to fewer male students. Dining facilities are common on the ground floor. There are 3 hostels: one in Hatigaon for 56 boys, one in Rudali Path for 84 boys, and one in Shantipur for 175 girls.

Each flat follows a 3BHK structure housing 6 people with WiFi and geyser facilities. The hostel fee is Rs 15,000 per semester. Rooms are spacious and clean, with 2 students per room, and provide separate beds. The dining hall is within walking distance and offers decent meals under a mess system. Additionally, elevator facilities are available for both boys and girls, and the hostels are equipped with computer facilities and WiFi.
