A Day at Vishwakarma University

Likes

The college is good in many aspects such the college follows project based learning
Due to that they students and really ready for the industry level knowledge that are actually needed for the company
The placement is good as approximately 900 companies visited last year for the placement opportunities

Dislikes

The campus is small sometime students get bored in roaming around th campus
Sometimes the time table is so exhausting that it starts in morning at 8 am and ends at 6 pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

That aspect that made me choose this course that the it very oriented with the project based learning which prepare students for the industry level knowledge and ready for the job . It really prepare for the real world problem which are needed in the industry. Some improvements can also be added as the era is of AI the curriculum can be shaped based on the AI for future proof. The frequency of the exam is every 6 months it is very good to have exams every 6 months as students get to check their knowledge on timely basis the difficultly level is manageable.

An honest review about Vishwakarma University

Likes

The professors are really helpful and understanding also the are experienced n this field so they gide really well.
There are many opportunity for being the part of many research papers.
Subjects are upto date and the education system are also upto date so they use project based exams also.

Dislikes

The building don't have a lift there are 4 floors but there are AC in some rooms.
some professor are rude but overall are nice.
There are no PE or sports lecture but there are competitions.

Placement Experience:

The placement starts from last year that is LY. Also the placement does take place in VU only it is for all VIT VIIT and VU 3 of them have the interviews together only. So all the companies that comes for there student comes for VU.

Good Experince at VU

Likes

Best Environment, everything is in campus.
there are almost 6 canteens in the campus.
gaming room provided by the college with quality monitors.

Placement Experience:

from 4th year all the students gets offers of placements. and from 3rd year students started getting Internships. also there is google dev groups club in house placements in our college. i don't know in details but from my side it could be 15lpa highest and lowest as in every colleges like 2,3lpa something arround. Almost 80% students gets placements who all are focusing on there carrer my plan is to get settle in luxurious lifestyle after getting my degree

VU adventures .

Likes

They host a lot of programmes for social awareness among differents department of our university, In fest , all departments get their own different theme to dress on and it's fun .
The university has collaborated with the Bhingtam University, so foreign kids are also studying here and they even provide opportunity for us to to study abroad after a few tests .
Teachers are friendly yet strict so ... we can even have fun and they also provide good guidance in projects and other college activities we do .

Dislikes

Buildings and ground is still under construction so we don't get much facilities now as much as we pay fees for , we are provided with very basic classrooms with table bench board and a projector , infrastructure needs to improve
This university is located in a very bad locality, bad transportation facilities , bad roads and girls safety is a concern here . After 6:30 girls are not allowed in the campus .
we only got 1 event in the whole semester which was not even good , no freshers , the fest and event are really disappointing , they allow only limited students to enter , and whatever performed was very bad and the decorations sucked.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year , internship offers starts for us , Placements are available but you need to score Good cgpa atleast above 8.5 , than only you're selected for interview, average package is around 3 lakh -5lakh highest can go upto 10 lakh to 13 lakh my plans are to to get a stable job after betch , or to prepare for gate and get a degree in Mtech from iit .

Not So Good, Not So Bad

Likes

Supportive Staff and Faculty. The teachers here are supportive.
The food in the canteen is good and feels like home.
The main building area is so good and need to build more such infrastructure.

Dislikes

Not well trained teachers, non co-operative staff.
Lack of support from training and placement cell, all have their own egos. Not working for students but for themselves.
Need to add more and better facilities and experienced faculties for Engineering department. Need to add more cultural and other clubs and events.

Placement Experience:

From the end of the 3rd year you become eligible for placements here. Many companies like IBM, Barclays, hsbc, nvidia come here for placements. Highest packages till now can be considered around 17.5 lpa at JP Morgan and Chase. Average package can be 4 to 5 lpa. Around 40-50 percent students might be placed or less... I don't have any stats. I'm looking for job opportunities after the college.

All about VU

Likes

The college offers well rounded academic structureswith experienced faculty members
The campus is vibrant with various cultural events for extracurricular activity.
The placement cell is active and supportive bringing in reputable companies across industries.

Dislikes

The workload can be overwhelming during times and there is lack of workmodule in some courses
Some facalities like computer lab software can be improved
Opportunity tends towards specific branched like CS / IT

The statistic of the college are impressive with a consistent placement rate of 85-90% of rate across most programs . Renowned companies like TCS, Infyosis ,Google ,microsoft , Zomato visit the campus every year offering roles.

College Life in VU Pune

Likes

The faculty is very experinced and skilled for students
The Exam passing criteria is very easy to pass exam
You can give repaper if you fail in papers

Dislikes

The campus very small of VU not all good
Class are also bad there are no ac in class and lab
there are to many project and viva there

Placement Experience:

In our college there are placements offered to 95% of students and average package of 3.50 lakhs per annum and highest to 1cr to students and there are well know company coming in campus for giving jobs like infosys etc

Navigating Knowledge a review of my college academics

Likes

the campus of the college is in large area
the faculty are well educated and humble towards student
infrastructure and amenities of the college is very good

Dislikes

the parking space didn't have any shelter
the college did'nt provide any scholarship

Placement Experience:

The college offers the best placements. the last year student become eligible for campus placements. the highest LPA is 18 LPA. 100% students gets placements. My Plans Are to work in Google or microsoft after getting degree

Teaching wise very good college. Also detailed learning was taken.
The computers used were also good and had all required technologies

Dislikes

Sports wise no scope from college. Wanted sports more

Course Curriculum Overview:

Special aspects were IBM special courses. They gave us extra 7 courses in 3 years so thay we can learn more about different things and different technologies. It also included accounts subject so we can have deep knowledge in commerce side as well

Likes

I liked the curriculum of college .Is Industry oriented and project based learning is more with theory.
Clubs in college are good for ex geeks for geeks club
Faculties are more expertise .and teaching is quite good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure college is under construction .
Fees is quite high as compare to other private colleges
Campus is small.and there are no seperate campus for VU is in campus of VIIT

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent with average package of 5-6 lpa .Student must have atleast 7.5 CGPA without any backlog for placements most common criteria it varies from company to company .For internships present no backlogs should be there
