IIIT Naya Raipur has best campus!!

Since NTPC holds a stake in our college our placements are guaranteed.
Chattisgarh Government has provided a lot of scholarship for students of our college and mostly to girls to encourage girl child education.
Many innovations and researches are promoted as our college believes in building IT leaders.

Dislikes

Hostels are not cleaned daily and sometimes we are left to do it on our own.

Placement Experience:

At IIIT Naya Raipur from 2022 where 74 out of 180 students were placed in 2025 the number increased to 127. So placements are surging and so are the numbers are also increasing heavily as well. 10 lakhs it is after 2025 and by next year I wish it to be 15 or more.

The Reality of IIIT Naya Raipur!! 100% placements?

Likes

Infrastructure is way too good for a government college wilth a well established clean campus
Girl to Boy ratio is 1:5 which is far better than other engineering colleges.
Curriculum is upto the mark matching the current IT requirements but a bit strict in the first few semesters

Dislikes

Not every faculty is an IITian, also some are too baised.
Campus is located far from main city with poor connectivity via only bus.
Placement below par compared to other IIITs

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. We have alot of companies visting us namely American Express, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, etc with Average Package around 12lacs and highest above 50 lacs, off campus around 2Cr with 99% students being places every year though Im planning to do an MBA so prepping for CAT

Moderate Infrastructure: the campus is relatively new, and the facilities reflect that. The classrooms, labs, hostels, and other amenities are well equippes and modern
Academic Cuiiriculum: IIIT NR offers a well- structed cirrculum with a focus on IT , CSE , data science , ECE . the emphasis on practical knowlege and programminng skills is appreciated by many students
The campus is serene , located in naya raipur , and offerd a peaceful environment for study . some students enjoy the sense of community and a balanced extracircullar life like TECH FEST .....

Dislikes

LOCATION : one pf the most common is the relatively remote location of the campus . Naya Raipur is still developing , and the area around the campus is somewhat isolated . We face transportation Problem
WEATHER: Naya Raipur is Extremely hot during during the summer , which can be very uncomfortable for students not used to the climate.

Internships Opportunities:

many students got oppurtunities to intern at top companies such as Microsoft , Amazon , TCS , Infosys , and Startups in the Tech sector . in addition to coporate internships the institute propmotes research internships, both with the isntitute and all threough collabrations

Likes

Faculty is quite good and they are experienced.
It has a permanent campus with basic facilities
Sports facilities are available and placement is good.

Dislikes

There aren't a lot of facilities available when it comes to internships.
The college is located in a remote location with not a lot of markets around a little bit of problems.
Some of faculties are inexperienced and the lack language skills.

Internships Opportunities:

I miss directions intensive opportunities widely and also the colleges tier 3 sure you'll have to grind hard so that you get an internship because it takes a lot of skill. Still, if you have skills, then you will find an internship , connections Help a lot.

I liked the Lush green Campus , as it was established in 2015 so the campus is fulfilled with all facilities
I liked the hostels most they are spacious and all necessary things are provided

Dislikes

Professors , some of them really don't know how to teach !
Internal politics of the College while elections .

Placement Experience:

from 4th year u are eligible for the placements . Many Indian and MNC companies visited and last year a total of 100+ offers were made Highest Package was 85LPA offered by accenture and average was 15 - 16LPA 70 80% students were placed other went for govy exams and higher studies. My plan is also to get a good paying job .

About our college IIIT Naya Raipur

Likes

Our college, Faculty, Students (Friends and seniors), Good infrastructure and also canteen food and gym facility.
I also like the way teachers interact with us if we have any problem and also seniors helping us in the hour of need.
Our Courses the teachers teach us in a good way.

Dislikes

Sometimes mess food is not good so i don't like it.
There is transportation problem in naya raipur since it is not developed fully.
we are not getting resources here because of the minimum people live here in naya raipur we have to travel to raipur for our needs

Internships Opportunities:

The Outreach Internship Programme is one of the research initiatives of IIIT Naya Raipur, to bring students from colleges across the country to our college. Our institute has been organizing this program since 2017. And internship duration will be from 22nd May to 22nd July.

Likes

Breakfast is good. Friendly environment, One night before exam we can read.
Friends are good in helping many-thing. some preference for seniors will get.
Past year papers make end term exam easy.

Dislikes

Routines are very hectic and exams are getting so much hectic.
Lunch and Dinner taste are not so well. Zomato and swiggy also not available.
More prone area far from cities, not for travelling.

Internships Opportunities:

In ece there is not much company offered here only for cse you will get here internship. In each semester you will get minor projects which is tough task but enhance you in learning something new. New ideas and activities are experienced.

My life at iiit Naya raipur

Likes

First thing is Labs of iiit-nr is better than many IIT
Campus is small but well maintained and it is greeny place
Professors and director are friendly to students

Dislikes

Medical facilities are not good if you get sick you have to go out of the campus
Just like medical Shop are not around our campus you have to go sector 27 or Raipur to buy things
Food is eatable not bad but it's hard for me since I am a vegan

Internships Opportunities:

The majority of students choose to work as research interns. And, because this college has a strong Data Science culture, most of them want to recruit a data science intern, but there are plenty of opportunities for software interns as well.

All the things are pretty well i would just say that they should increase seats.

Dislikes

Bose hostel given to first year boys it is not that good compared to other hostels.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities are available to you from the 7th sem. Before that, you have to do everything on your own so just do coding and try to get an internship according to your skills. In summer you should do something that you could write on your resume to show such as working on a good project or doing a summer internship.

It's Advanced Curriculum.
100% Placements.
Decent Hostel facilities.

Dislikes

Our college is not that big it is of 45 acres.

Internships Opportunities:

Most of the students start internships in the sixth semester. Our seniors were doing internships at Goldman Sachs, American Express, Google, etc. Some were doing research internships from International Institutions and our college provides charges for them to stay in that country for internships.
