IIIT Naya Raipur offers UG, PG, and doctoral-level programs in various disciplines of CSE, ECE, AI & Data Science. Admissions to these programs are conducted through national entrance examinations or institute-based entrance exams. IIIT Naya Raipur has a seat reservation system that determines the student intake. The seat reservation system is as follows:
- All India quota has 35% seats,
- Chhattisgarh Quota has 50% seats
- NTPC Quota has 14% seats.

IIIT NR provides admission to a 2-year M.Tech program in five specializations, such as CSE (AI & Data Science), ECE (Communication & Signal Processing/ VLSI & Embedded Systems). The M.Tech fee is priced at INR 1.41 Lakh for the first year. A non-refundable application fee of INR 500 has to be paid by the general category candidate and INR 300 by the reserved category candidates.
IIIT Naya Raipur M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- For General Category Applicants, a Bachelor’s degree from IITs/IIITs/NITs/IISc or any other reputed institute in Engineering or Science with at least 60% marks in aggregate or a minimum CGPA of 6.5 shall be considered.

IIIT Naya Raipur Application Process
For B.Tech admissions, students applying under the All India Quota need to apply through the JoSAA website and follow the instructions below:
- Candidates who have qualified for JEE Main 2025 will have to register on the JoSAA website.
- Registration involves using the JEE Main application number and password, along with other details like name, mother's name, and date of birth.
- After authentication, candidates will have to set a password for the JoSAA portal.
- Once registered, candidates can fill out their preferences for colleges and courses in order of priority.
- Candidates must lock their choices before the deadline, as locked choices cannot be changed.
- Multiple rounds of seat allotment will occur based on rank and preferences.
- During each round, candidates can choose to:
(i) Freeze: This confirms their seat and is final in subsequent rounds.
(ii) Slide: This allows them to be considered for better choices in the next round, while maintaining their current seat.
(iii) Float: This allows them to be considered for any available seat in the next round, even if it's not their top choice.
- After seat allocation, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee and upload the required documents for verification. They can pay the fee through net banking or e-challan.
- Candidates have to report to the allotted institute with their original documents and other required documents for admission verification. They have to complete the admission formalities within the specified timeframe.
