Ananlysis over a university by a student sudied in that.

Likes

First thing to like it is only university of madhya pradesh which is for doing graduation in music related subjects whether it is vocal or instrumental or percussion. So in this field, colleges jn about three digits i.e. above 100 are associated with
This university. Second thing what i like is the syllabus for doing graduation or post graduation is concentrated on indian classical music mostly.
Third, is about linking musicians with the persons whether can be candidates interested in music mostly by seminars, demonstrations and kaaryashaalas too. One another good thing for students is that they can complete there phd research also.

Dislikes

There are many things that can be changed. First is that syllabus can be modified and could be real to implement like the syllabus for stage demonstration i.e. interview.
More, second change is to implement such things that could help improve one's thinking for music i.e. should not let complete students degree simply as music can't be accepted to have been completed simply by doing evaluation of theory of music. As,
It's main face is practical. Third is, hiring should be done as there is lack of staff.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since, music is alike with that of science , commerce etc. So there is a high demand of study to be smart i. e. Practial based. Curriculum have about two written tests and two semesters in a year in which about 80 % mark's distribution is in theoritical tests and less on practical which can be opposite too i.e. 80 % practical and 20 % theoritical. Curriculum seems to be relevant in only one aspect and that is the tests being conducted for the teaching job in the field of music whether school level or college level.

Remarks:

The Teaching faculty is expert with respective subjects and their teachings help the students to grow in their carrier which makes them leaders of tomorrow. The college is the only art college in a country where all subjects and course are related to various art visual, performing and applied.
