- Faculty at SVIMS is knowledge able and generally approachable many of them hold advanced degrees and have practical experience in their respective fields.
- Campus vibes is vibrant with regular and extracurricular activities such as a culture fests sports events and technical workshops
- The campus has a decent infrastructure including modern laboratories that are vital for a biotechnology course. The lab are a equipped with the necessary tools for conducting practical experiment though some students feels that more equipment is add

- Some students feels that gender diversity on campus could be improved as traditionallly engineering and technology courses have seen lower female enrolledment
- Some students also feels that some courses could benefit from more interactive teaching method
- The ratio of girls and boys at SVIIMS is relatively balanced with more male student in engineering courses are a growing number of female students in the biotechnology and other science courses
Course Curriculum Overview:
Overall the bsc biotechnology curriculum at SVIIMS is strong and prepares students well for both the biotech industry and further academic pursuits.
The curriculum is compensative covering core topics in biotechnology though it could be made more contemporary by in cooperating recent advancements and interdisciplinary learning opportunities. The exam system is rigorous but manageable with preparation and teaching methods can be further improved to including more interactive and modern tools to enhance student learning.
