GSFC University offers programs in the fields of Engineering, Science, and Arts. At the UG level, the University offers programmes such as B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, B.Com, and BBA. It offers M.Sc, M.Tech, and MBA programmes in various specialisations at the PG level. It also offers PhD programmes in 4 specialisations.
B.Tech admission to GSFC University is based on JEE Main scores and GUJCET. However, BBA admission is granted based on the UGAT score. Admission to both B.Sc. and M.Sc. is done based on the candidate’s performance in the Entrance exam. For M.Tech, the university accepts GATE scores.
Candidates who intend to take admission for a PhD have to apply in a prescribed format through the GSFC University’s admission department. GSFC University UG Admission 2025
Course-wise eligibility and selection process are given below:
GSFC B.Tech Admission
GSFC offers full-time B.Tech programs under 4 specializations in total. The specialisations include Chemical Engineering, CSE- Cyber Security, CSE- Data Science, and Fire and Environment, Health, Safety. The course duration is 4 years. B.Tech lateral has 6 specialisations with a 3-year duration.
GSFC B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate should have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths subjects with a minimum of 45% for the general category and 40% for the reserved category in PCM Theory or Theory+ Practical from the recognized board.
GSFC B.Tech Selection Criteria
- The selection of B.Tech courses at GSFC University will be based on the NTA JEE Main 2025 merit list.
- Final selections will be based on merit, categories, and seat availability.
- Counseling sessions will be conducted.
GSFC B.Sc Admission 2025
The University offers a UG Degree for B.Sc. Hons. courses as a full-time course. The duration of the course is 3 Years. It includes 4 specializations such as Chemistry, Biotechnology, Data Science, and Microbiology.
GSFC B.Sc Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should have completed 12th from the science stream with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. (If less than 50% marks, then faculty interaction is required.)
GSFC B.Sc Selection Criteria
- 55% and above marks scored students get direct admission on the first cum first basis.
- From 50% to 55% marks scored by students, a merit list will be created based on marks obtained as aggregate.
- Students scoring 45% to 50% have to sit for an entrance test conducted by the University. Merit List will be prepared based on:
- 60% weightage -12th marks
- 40% weightage – entrance test result.
Note: GSFC also offers an integrated course of Bachelor's and Master's in Science for 5 years. Students who have passed 12th with science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Zoology, IT, or others can apply to this course provided they have at least secured 50% in aggregate in 12th.
GSFC BBA Admission 2025
The university offers a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with 5 different specializations. It includes Business Analytics, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, and Accounting. The duration of the courses is 3 years.
GSFC BBA Eligibility Criteria

GSFC M.Sc Selection Process
- Merit for admission will be based on the Entrance Examination (Written Test) as conducted by GSFC University.
- A Personal Interview shall be held with the candidates to secure admission.
GSFC University M.Tech Admission
M.Tech specializations include M.Tech (CSE) in Data Science, AI & ML, and M.Tech (CSE) in IoT & Automation. The course duration is 2 years.
M.Tech (CSE) Eligibility
- Applicants must hold a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Computer Science & Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for candidates from SC/ST categories).
- A valid GATE score in the relevant CSE discipline is required for admission.
Candidates without a valid GATE score may alternatively appear for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by ACPC, Gujarat.
M.Tech Selection Process
State Quota Seats: Filled through the Gujarat PGCET, managed by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Government of Gujarat.
All India Quota Seats: Filled directly by GSFC University based on the following criteria:
- Open to applicants from across India (including Gujarat), selected based on GATE scores.
- 50% of the total seats are filled through ACPC, and the remaining 50% through the Management Quota.
- Admission details for these seats will be published on the university’s official website.
- If seats remain vacant under the GATE and PGCET categories, they may be reallocated between the two.
GSFC PhD Programme Admission 2025
The University offers a Doctorate Degree for 2 courses as a part-time course. The duration of the courses is 3-4 Years. The specializations include CSE, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Management.
GSFC PhD Eligibility Criteria
Post-graduation with a minimum of 55% in aggregate with Chemistry or Biotechnology.
GSFC PhD Selection Process
- Candidates who intend to take admission for a PhD have to apply in a prescribed format through the GSFC University’s admission department. On the receipt of applications, an entrance test will be conducted for the eligible candidates, irrespective of the number of applications received, which will be followed by an interview by a Doctoral Committee of the GSFC University.
- Scientists / Professionals with a minimum of 5 Years of experience and at least one publication in a refereed journal OR with a minimum of 10 years of experience working in the Government of India / State Government / Corporate Bodies / Laboratories may directly appear for interview, subject to fulfilling minimum eligibility criteria.

Admissions to the B.Tech programs are based on the JEE Main examination. Admissions to B.Sc, M.Sc, and BBA are merit-based. Admission to the PhD is based on an entrance test conducted by the University. The steps to apply are mentioned below:

GSFC University Admission 2025: Scholarships
GSFC University’s School of Technology offers a Merit Scholarship to encourage and reward academic excellence. This scholarship is available to students securing admission through ACPC and meeting the prescribed merit criteria based on their ACPC Merit Rank. Eligible students can receive the scholarship starting from the first semester and continue to benefit from it for all four years of their B.Tech program, provided they maintain the required academic performance and fulfill the university’s code of conduct and attendance policies.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicable only to students admitted through ACPC in A.Y. 2023–24.
- Eligibility is based on the ACPC Merit Rank in the respective B.Tech programs.
- To continue receiving the scholarship in subsequent years, students must:
- Maintain a minimum 8.0 CGPA each year.
- Pass all semester examinations in the first attempt.
