Going back to an amazing world of my own ( My favourite place- Akal University)

Likes

They provide quality education, supportive staff and best environment for studies
We've extracurricular activities at the campus like pendu khedaan(traditional games of punjab), athletics meets, singging competitions, personality development sessions etc.
Provides a safe environment for teens, motivational sessions with persons who have done excellent in different fields.

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was so fascinated by the teaching experience of my teachers that now I am pursuing Mathematics as my optional subject in upsc (cse). The standard of exams was according to the exams that I am giving into upsc optional. So it helped me a lot in making a major decision of my upsc journey.

My Experience at Akal University.

Likes

I liked the way of teaching and supportive nature of teachers.
Free UPSC Exam is also a plus point of this university. They provide experience trainer.
You get oppurtinity of attending webinars and courses from highly qualified teachers.

Dislikes

There is issue finacial managment of the university. sometime you have miss classes for resolving your fee issue
They don't focus on physical activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of my interest in Mathematics. There was a total of 10 Faculty members for 80 students. Every teacher was net qualified and a Ph.D. holder. Teaching Quality is good and they give more focus to weaker students. Exams are conducted every 6 months. They conduct monthly tests for each subject. The average score of this test is then added to end-semester exam points (20 marks out of 100). Passing the exam is easy here, the success rate is 90% here.

My University AKAL UNIVERSITY

Likes

Study and faculty staff are best. Strictness is also good for study.
my department faculty-student ratio is 1/25 .all faculty member is doctorates.
in very rear cases faculty members miss their lectures.

Dislikes

Lot of pressure on students due to Monday tests.
University hours are also very long from 9 am to 4:20 pm. There is no time left for self study.
There are no annual fest, functions nothing for entertainment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in mathematics. All faculty members are M.sc, CSIR NET qualified, and Ph.D. There are two semesters in a year and exams are held twice. The exam level is not very high a regular studious student can easily pass it.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement. After getting the degree you have to place you by your own hands not provided by the University and the plans are after getting the degree do MSc from a reputed university or give some competitive exams.
