The tuition fee is too much according to middle-class families' mess fees and all other fee structure is ok. There are three types of scholarship 1- MCM (Merit cum mean) we get a scholarship on the basis of sem merit, 2- Remission, And 3-Free messing for SC/ST.

Engineering at IIT Dharwad

IIT Dharwad offers Merit-cum-means scholarships to 25% of the undergraduate students studying b.tech. The eligibility for this would be the family income of the student less than 4.5 lakh. All SC/ST students are exempted from the payment of fees. They are even provided free messing along with the monthly allowance of 250 rupees for other miscellaneous expenses. Apart from that, the students with family income less than1 lakh will get full remission of fees. And those with a family income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh will get remission of 2/3rd amount of fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like mechanical branch from 11th and 12th mechanics, All faculties have high knowledge in their fields and have phDs, some proffesors even have patents register in their name, exams are GENERALLY conducted in 4parts 2 quizes of 10% each, 1 midsem 30%, and endsem for 50%, all these parts are covered on monthly basis , like every monthend have 1 exam, it is not very hard to pass the exams just listen to lecs or just do tutorials with some extra question and you can be at the top 1/3rd of class

Valuable for money- [IIT], Dharwad

The Fee is 110000 per semester. Only tuition fees are 100000. Due to the Scholarship provided by the institute, I will get my Tuition fees of 100000 back. It is affordable for me to pay. Even some students do some jobs as teaching assistants.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fees is highly expensive. If you study in a brand that's what you have to pay. The fees for my course I'd about 8.5 lakhs. Other amenities are costly too. You really have to do something about it if you are from general category. For SC/ST it's about 70000 only.

The fee for each semester is around Rs 1,35,000 including the tuition fee, mess fee, hostel fee, medical fee, transportation fee, etc. I don't think it's that expensive. Also, a part of this fee is refundable when you graduate from the ecollege.
