- The campus infrastructure is good and availability of different kinds of food.
- The forensic science faculty is well educated and knowledgeable and take interactive lectures.
- Share PPts and precise material to study from and mid sem tests contain ques of last year ptu exams.
Dislikes
- At the time of admission, they didn't tell about the extra fees like fest fees, placement fees.
- Don't have specific books to study which results in getting messed up of all the units.
Placement Experience:
The college doesn't provide you the opportunity for internships, if you want to do one then you need to find by your own self in 3rd year. College will provide opportunities for placements and highest package of 2025 (3rd year students ) is 9 lakhs per annum and this will surely increase with upcoming years

- Good faculty with experience and all in practical field too.
- Campus is full of greenery and nature's beauty
- Curriculum is also well designed by the University.
Dislikes
- Lack of social clubs in the campus is a severe issue.
- Less encouragement to the sports and the updates .
- The outing timing of the girls need some changes in comparison to the boys.
Placement Experience:
From 5th sem onwards campus placements are initiated. Not many companies visit a and those companies which do visit are not very related to the core jobs.
The highest package was 42 lakh although the average package is 4 lakhs.
Not even 50% of the students are placed.
I plan to opt for offcampus placements

- Infrastructure is very good and clean. College also has gardens and other sports ground as well.
- Faculty service is very good, they are supportive and cooperative.
- Canteens and food courts are provided, food is good and hygiene.
Dislikes
- The level of the things they teach is so low.
- The exam fees and other form fees that they include are unnecessary.
- The focus on creativity and all is also very low.
Placement Experience:
They provide good placements in every course, although I don't know much about placements in my course, i know that they make you fill forms for which they provide paid internships in the companies and after your degree it is kinda sure that you will get placed somewhere if you make a good portfolio along the semesters.

- The food items in the shops in my college seem a bit expensive.

Before coming to the college, I had met many seniors who told me that the placements of this college are very good, there are many seniors who have been placed, they have been taken in good companies and they have good salaries.

Placement Experience:
From the starting of the last year of your course you will be eligible for the placements if you fulfill the company fitted criteria.
Many companies visited the college throughout the year like Microsoft, google, autodesk, wipro, XPERI, TCS and many more which provides the plenty of placements.
The percentage of the students getting placements are not so much high.
If I will not get on campus placement then I will try for off campus placement

CGC University: 1 Answered Question
What is your review of CGC Jhanjeri?
Neerja SrivastavaB.Tech Computer Science, Chandigarh Engineering College (2018)
My cousin studies at CGC Jhanjeri and it's a nice and average place to be. Following are some issues though, which may be burdensome:
- If you wish to go out during college hours then you will need to get an application signed by the CC and the HOD. The process itself will take up a lot of time.
- Girls can stay out up to 7 pm in summers and 6 pm in winters and you can step out to roam in the campus by 4:30 and you will have to return in two hours to avoid sending a call home.
- You should have at least a 75% attendance like most colleges, but it will be evaluated every 15 days. You will have to attend 75% of 15 days to avoid detention during the Monthly Sessional Tests of MSTs.
- The campus is verdant and hygienic and it has a playground, but it is surrounded by grasslands on all sides up to 5 Kms. It has all the basic amenities like stationery shops, sports ground, pool, games room, etc.
- Even transportation is an issue and autos and buses are the only way but quite time-consuming.
Hostel, mess food, cleanliness, room Sharing are not any issues at all. You will not have to worry about ragging too. You can go to Chandigarh for shopping after getting your passbook filled and signed by the Warden.
However, you cannot bunk because the campus is small, you can get discovered very easily and may face some good punishment. As for placements, it all depends upon research-based hard work and skills. Major companies do visit for recruitment.
