I like the atmosphere of the college .
A lot of the eating places attracts me .
I like the grounds and the parking area .

Dislikes

there are lot of students in the campus.
crowded classes are plus points as well as minus point
at the time of rainy season the campus looks dirty

Yes, i like the placements of this college. Very good placement ratio of this college . out of every 10 students 7-8 students gets placed. One of the best growing college in the north india in terms of placements as well

The senior staff is supportive and helpful

The short of attendance is a major issue here
During events girls and boys are separated
It’s very hot in summers are there in not facility of AC

From 6th semester students are eligible for placements We are taught from first semester about thé placement exams and process There's a DCPD team for the same 60% of the students are placed with an average package of 7LPA

Likes

Faculty are very good in teaching and cooperative with students.
Here we provided with 24 hour wifi connection.
We are provided with smart classes like smart board.

Dislikes

Feeling like we studying in school again.
Rules are very not likely to follow for hostel leaves.
Ac is not provided in every class room so Summer are very hard to pass.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty sufficient for me, for others i can not say about anything. Placements are take place by 3rd semester and the average package size is around 550000 per annum. Maximum package i can say around 10 to 15 lakh.

My cousin studies at CGC Jhanjeri and it's a nice and average place to be. Following are some issues though, which may be burdensome:

If you wish to go out during college hours then you will need to get an application signed by the CC and the HOD. The process itself will take up a lot of time.
Girls can stay out up to 7 pm in summers and 6 pm in winters and you can step out to roam in the campus by 4:30 and you will have to return in two hours to avoid sending a call home.
You should have at least a 75% attendance like most colleges, but it will be evaluated every 15 days. You will have to attend 75% of 15 days to avoid detention during the Monthly Sessional Tests of MSTs.
The campus is verdant and hygienic and it has a playground, but it is surrounded by grasslands on all sides up to 5 Kms. It has all the basic amenities like stationery shops, sports ground, pool, games room, etc.
Even transportation is an issue and autos and buses are the only way but quite time-consuming.

Hostel, mess food, cleanliness, room Sharing are not any issues at all. You will not have to worry about ragging too. You can go to Chandigarh for shopping after getting your passbook filled and signed by the Warden.

However, you cannot bunk because the campus is small, you can get discovered very easily and may face some good punishment. As for placements, it all depends upon research-based hard work and skills. Major companies do visit for recruitment.
