Every block having lifts for reaching any floor
Every floor having seperate washroom with clean environment
Every floor having clean and chilled water to drink

Dislikes

Some classes projector are not stable making difficult to understand
Classes not having air conditioning making extreme hot in summers
Computer not having any high end graphic card for doing heavy work like blender and all

My review for the college I study in

Likes

The senior staff is supportive and helpful
The events are well organised and are fun to attend
The campus is beautiful and a lot of greenery is there

Dislikes

The short of attendance is a major issue here
During events girls and boys are separated
It’s very hot in summers are there in not facility of AC

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for placements We are taught from first semester about thé placement exams and process There's a DCPD team for the same 60% of the students are placed with an average package of 7LPA

Balanced at it's own way.

Likes

The college infrastructure has improved.
Faculty in the higher semester are better than the initial semester.
You will be able to see more girls than boys in the college. Which directs towards the increasing rates of literacy in females in india.

Dislikes

The erp website of college does not provide accurate attendance percentage of the students.
Students are not allowed to hang out in the campus before lunch. They should he in class.
College is very isolated.Sometimes feels a little bit suffocated.

Placement Experience:

The training for placements starts from 3rd semester and the students are eligible for placements from 5th semester. Many companies have visited my college from past two years some of them are google wipro amazon eicher and microsoft. The highest package in the whole campus is for 40 lpa and the rest are under them. College guarantees 100 percent placement but everyone knows thats not the case. In BCA the companies are coming but they are not technical companies most of them are sales. I think you can get placed but that might not be your desired company.

Likes

Faculty are very good in teaching and cooperative with students.
Here we provided with 24 hour wifi connection.
We are provided with smart classes like smart board.

Dislikes

Feeling like we studying in school again.
Rules are very not likely to follow for hostel leaves.
Ac is not provided in every class room so Summer are very hard to pass.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty sufficient for me, for others i can not say about anything. Placements are take place by 3rd semester and the average package size is around 550000 per annum. Maximum package i can say around 10 to 15 lakh.

Likes

Teacher and student personal bond is good .
Here you explore more than academic like sports, many cultural events.
Hostel food is good in jhanjeri with much variety.

Dislikes

College need to grow campus as fast as possible .
They try to make a big ground for sport like cricket .

Placement Experience:

I think placement was quiet good for everyone who study properly but if you can't get selected by any back in college exams there you should be try outside campus placements if you really desire so you get the job.

A deep dive in CGC

Likes

There is not criticism or any type of criminal offense in the college
No ragging is allowed in the college that is the best part
And placement is very good around 600+ companies arrives every year

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs to be improved ( old infrastructure)
Less sitting space in the canteen and inside the college
The water sewage system needs to be improvised

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in the starting of the final year. They have full year of the placements and have enough time to get placed. I also got 2 offers from the companies. Highest package is of 45Lpa and average is 6 Lpa. 80-100 % students gets the placements.

Likes

The things i most like in college is good faculty.
Then its good campus and environment and peaceful area
After every 1or 2 month there will be function,(you will love it)

Dislikes

Teacher will keep calling you if you will not attend the classes
The rules of this college feels me like i am still in 6th class
Very odd rules , like in my batch teacher will keep changing your seats and keep shuffling your class

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements but you will be only applicable after 4 th or 5 th sem . The average package is about 4-5 lakh per annum. Now its up to you which one you will get according to your skills in work.

About the experience in CGC

Likes

I like the discipline in the college campus.
The atmosphere inside the campus is very comfortable as their is always a positive vibe that a fresh student getss
The faculty is also very good and helps every student to understand the particular topic

Dislikes

Sometimes the food in the mess is not very much good
Their is also the issue of electricity in side the classes
Their is soo much strictness inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my course is bachelor of business administration and i like my course and college also takes many initiative to help the students to understand much better. And i would like to express my opinion that their should be some practical experience that should have to provide to the students

Honest opinion of a common student

Likes

The Fest and Cultural activities are absolutely good & Curriculum is quite busy which should be made quite simplified for students
People from all races are found, it takes time but with time you interact with lots of people
Faculty is absolutely good & helping in nature

Dislikes

Proper infrastructure is not provided yet
Bus service & Hostel services is not properly managed yet
Proper breaks are not provided, regular classes make it tough to sit

Placement Experience:

The most interesting part is the internship by which students are able to manage their expenses ,And students are able to take placement from 3rd year onwards according to their interest,bt higher skill they will be always beneficiary

What is your review of CGC Jhanjeri?

My cousin studies at CGC Jhanjeri and it's a nice and average place to be. Following are some issues though, which may be burdensome:

If you wish to go out during college hours then you will need to get an application signed by the CC and the HOD. The process itself will take up a lot of time.
Girls can stay out up to 7 pm in summers and 6 pm in winters and you can step out to roam in the campus by 4:30 and you will have to return in two hours to avoid sending a call home.
You should have at least a 75% attendance like most colleges, but it will be evaluated every 15 days. You will have to attend 75% of 15 days to avoid detention during the Monthly Sessional Tests of MSTs.
The campus is verdant and hygienic and it has a playground, but it is surrounded by grasslands on all sides up to 5 Kms. It has all the basic amenities like stationery shops, sports ground, pool, games room, etc.
Even transportation is an issue and autos and buses are the only way but quite time-consuming.

Hostel, mess food, cleanliness, room Sharing are not any issues at all. You will not have to worry about ragging too. You can go to Chandigarh for shopping after getting your passbook filled and signed by the Warden.

However, you cannot bunk because the campus is small, you can get discovered very easily and may face some good punishment. As for placements, it all depends upon research-based hard work and skills. Major companies do visit for recruitment.
