Life at RGUKT -Nuzvid

Likes

Library, which helps me in finding all resources for my studies.
Faculty, they will help me in all subject and teach us in a friendly manners.

Dislikes

Admission process, which is very tough in shortlisting the candidates.
Academic rules, especially only for girls.

Placement Experience:

The college has a higher Placement ratio than any other college in our surroundings with more than 65% Placement ratio. The students will get their internship opportunities from their 5th year onwards which will help them get in place before they graduate. Our college has collaborated with more than 50 MNC companies like Tata Consultancy, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. The average salary package they offer in the role of software is 50 lakh per annum. More than 50 percent of students will get placed in the campus interviews. Well, I planning to go for higher studies in the USA.

Likes

Play ground, having enough space and materials to play.
Auditorium, which is nothing less then a movie theatre.
Library, huge amount of book collections.

Placement Experience:

We get placement chances from our 3rd year onwards, and every year more than 50 MNC companies will come to offer placements for our college, and more than 60% of students will get placed in top MNC companies. For a long time our college got a 2crores/annum package in the highest and 45lac/annum in the average package from Amazon company. I am aiming for higher studies in the UK.

Likes

faculty, Academic Calender, Exam Cell, Playground and Library are the things I Like The Most In My College.

Dislikes

The Timings Of Our College which Is Starts From 8'o onwards I dont like these about my college.

Placement Experience:

The Students Of Our College Will Get Placements and Internships From 3rd year(5th semester) onward, and many of us will get settled before the final semester, As Per My Knowledge Amazon Company Offered the Highest Package Of 2 crore/annum. Every Year We Have More Than 50% Students are getting Placements in Many MNC's Like Microsoft, Amazon, Internshala, IRCTC etc. I'm Not Certain whether to get placed or go for higher studies after my studies.

The faculty we have and the way they teach. The library is the best place in the college with every facility like the books available, the faculty , the neatness
The interaction between seniors and juniors.

The animals in the hostel the monkeys irritating thing.

RGUKT NUZVID REVIEW AND DETAILS OF THE COLLEGE

Likes

Hostel rooms which are peaceful and we can enjoy there.
Washing area at the back of the hostel is very good
More pleasant environment than outer colleges with more number of trees

Dislikes

Mess food is not upto the standard and several messes have several caters so some are good and and some are bad
More number of monkeys inside the campus is disturbing
Hostel to academic block distance is 0.6 km I feel somewhat long

Placement Experience:

From third-year BTech, the students are eligible for campus internships and they take good care of students who are approaching the internship cell. The highest package on campus is 28 LPA in analog devices. Out of the campus is 1.03 crore per annum for a blockchain analyst in a company. 70 percent of students are placed almost every year. I will try GATE after getting my degree on this campus.

Likes

Campus Environment with more members of students from various places across the state living in very secured and healthy environment
Much lab support by maintaining lab equipment, providing students digital education, having nice faculty and student relations

Dislikes

Process is getting delayed in any sanctions from the government

The reason for the increment in the placements having to maintain a separate club for career and campus placement for students giving more support to students. Every department is having their own way of approaching and planning the placements by maintaining Clubs and Research Teams.

Our colllege environment i like the most.Because its clean and pleasant environment with green plants
Our room environment is also so good,Our roommates here are made our memories lovable
Our college infrastructure is so nice,faculty also so talented and very highly qualified at teaching

Dislikes

Our college rules and regulations upon the safety of girls, they are not even allowed to go outings with her friends.
The prices of daily usage items are higher when compared to outside
Students are not much allowed to go to outings even if it is an emergency.

Placement Experience:

In our college placements are eligible for students from engineering 3 year semester 2 onwards ,we are eligible for interns and placements.Some companies like ford,mahendra companies visited but big comapanies like tata motors,bmw not made offers for us.Our highest package is 1cr per annum and average package is 5lpa.Percentage of students getting placements is nearly 60-70 percentage but year by year its incresing sometimes decresing based on situation in industries need. My plan after getting degree is getting placed in college placements.

Firstly I liked mostly in the university is the infrastructure of the university.
Secondly I liked the teaching skills of the faculty.
And I also liked the environment in the university.

Dislikes

I dislikes the food taste in the dininghalls.
In summer here very hot and there is so many monkeys beside the university.

Placement Experience:

In Btech 3rd year second semester students are eligible for internships and campus placements.wipro, tcs, the renew power and some more companies visited our university and made nearly 150 offers .Highest package is 27 LPA and lowest package is 5 LPA.There is 65 % students getting placements.I want to start a business after my degree.

Likes

Campus Infra, and teaching style i liked. Moreover it's Environment is safe and clean.Organisations are very well.
Faculty us good and are friendly with students.Library facilities good.
Interactions with seniors is good.Many facilities like banking,yoga,police Station available here.

Dislikes

Very strict rules to girl students.Outpass issuing
Mess food is not good sometimes.But food court is there.
Some times it's getting busy due to overload of work.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available from Engineering's 3rd year, most probably from the second semester. Wipro, Infosys, tech mahindra, tcs etc. Top companies are ready to here. Nearly 200 offers were made. The highest package is 1.5 crore per annum is achieved by a student who worked on block chain analysis. The average package is 1.2 lac per annum. Nearly 80% of students get placements. Will try to pursue the highest degree like M.S, M.tech

What is your review of IIIT Nuzvid?

The facilities are quite good but you will not find smart graduates here. The classrooms are good with 3-star accommodation. Everything including the notices is sent online.

A peculiar thing that you will notice is that everyone here uses Linux as an operating system including Fedora, Ubuntu, and Zorin.
There are no hard copy textbooks and it is a smart campus with no electrical lines seen anywhere.
In your first year, you will do well, plus there is no entrance exam to gain admission.
Infrastructure-wise, the college is good. It was mainly started to boost village students to gain exposure to higher education.
It also gives an option of 6 years of free education to prevent girls from getting married too early.
There are also free food and hostel facilities for underprivileged students. However, the main drawback is that it could shrink the mindset of many students by making them complacent.
You will also find really good faculty that will help you secure a job later. Most lecturers here are individuals who have done well in their subjects.
Underprivileged students also get the opportunity to access movies and the internet.

Overall, it is a good place but most students end up being intelligent and not street smart here.

RGUKT Nuzvid is the only institute which provides students with laptop and internet connectivity. The institute has a population of 6000 students and 300 faculty members. The institute also has the biggest library in Andhra Pradesh.

Placements:-

RGUKT Nuzvid has a solid placement department for BTech and MTech students. Around 60-70 companies visit the campus every year.

The top companies are Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Intel, Internshala, etc.

Admission details:-

The institute offers 6-year integrated BTech courses with a minimum of 50% marks as aggregate in the 10th standard.
Admissions are offered based on the marks in class 10.
The candidates need to have 60% marks in BTech degree for admission in the MTech program.
Admissions are based on the marks in the GATE score, followed by counseling.

The institute is a fully residential environment with a ragging free campus.
The campus has all the students’ facilities as students have to stay at the college for studies.
The college provides high-quality education and offers opportunities to be involved in extracurricular activities like sports, music, drama, debate, painting, etc.
