What documents do the students need to carry for verification, if selected for the counseling at RGUKT?

Candidates are required to carry 3 sets of the following, along with original documents.RGUKT CET statement of marksRGUKT Rank CardHall Ticket - 10th ClassResidence certificateCaste certificate, if applicableEWS certificate, if applicable

Is education at RGUKT free of cost?

All candidates have to pay mandatory fees like Application fee, Registration fee & refundable caution fees. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category have a slightly lesser amount, but are no exception to paying the above mentioned fees. The student has to create a bank account into which the Govt. may transfer the scholarship amount, based on the category. The university then records this amount against the fees of the candidate. Any due amount remaining apart from deductions from the scholarship; must be paid by the candidate. RGUKT also assists the students with setting up the bank account initially.

How is the B.Tech course curriculum at RGUKT?

The integrated B.Tech program consists of 2 years Pre-University course (PUC) & 4 year Engineering course. The PUC consists of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Telugu and Information Technology. After the successful completion of PUC, the candidate can choose the desired BTech specialization out of the 7 available. The exams are conducted in Descriptive & Optional mode.

What are the criteria for Branch allocation at RGUKT?

The candidate is allotted the chosen branch based on merit, through an online process set up by RGUKT. Seats available for each branch are decided by the number of students passing the PUC course. The tentative numbers of seats under each branch are -Chemical Engineering - 60Civil Engineering 120 or 180Computer Science Engineering - 300Electronics and Communication Engineering - 300Mechanical Engineering - 180Metallurgical and Material Engineering - 60

What are the internship opportunities at RGUKT?

Students at RGUKT are encouraged to undertake Summer internships or Long-term internships, linked to the students educational goals. In-house or company internships can be done by the student for a minimum period of 6 weeks. Students can qualify for the internship offered after passing the tests & interviews. Some internships offer stipend too.

Does the campus of RGUKT have facilities for Physically challenged students?

Yes, about 3% of the total admission seats are reserved for the Physically challenged students. The campus infrastructure provides a comfortable atmosphere for such students as well. The institution buildings have facilities such as Lifts, ramps, walking aids, wheelchairs, aids for transportation from one building to another & specially designed toilets for physically handicapped students.

During giving outpass it is very complex and hard
Some hostel facilities was uncomfortable to students

Based on the room no of students would be allocated if the room is small onlu 3 members if large 8 members would be allocated racks and shelfs are provided for the students meal is little bit average after joining to college they would provide hostel facilities during the councelling

Likes

The campus is green with decent classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi in academic blocks.Also we have Wi-Fi in hostels also. Then we have a gym, a big playground, also a big library with all the books.

Dislikes

Hostels are manageable,but maintenance is sometimes delayed.
Sometimes we have issues with mess food.

Hostel Facilities:

We have 6 members in each room and we are provided with a cot, mattress, a cupboard. Meals include breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Meal quality is decent, and there are student feedack communities to help improve food quality

Reality of rgukt

Hostel Facilities:

In hostel room, we get basic bed, study table, and fan but no AC. Meals are simple, mostly rice, dal, and curry; quality is okay but sometimes food is less tasty. Hostel registration is easy but fee ?28,000 is bit high. I didn’t rent outside, but nearby locality is safe and many students prefer PG for more comfort.

I dislike the distance from hostel to mess.
I little bit dislike the mess food here .

Hostel Facilities:

Accommodation provided by the college in hostels and hostel room is for 3 members in small room and 6 members in a large room.The cots will be given and facilities were too good.The mess food is not good for some days but it is eatable and it is common for any hostel.

Hostel Facilities:

Our room has currently 3 members but some other rooms which are bigger than ours have atleast 6-8 members. And when it comes to meal our campus is definitely not the best one according to me. And the room is provided by management itself

Some times canteen prices are very high so it is very difficult to buy items.
Only water melon and papaya is available at fruit shop.
In some days Mess food is very bad to taste

My college consists of so many blocks.In some blocks Every room consists atleast 20 to 25 beds and cots.In some blocks Every room consists of only three cots and beds for students comfortness. My college rooms is so good

Likes

Actually we are staying in hostel it is also free of cost. If government provides the scholarship we have to pay it for the college other wise it is not necessary.

Dislikes

Our campus is full of monkey which are trying to attract us whenever there is banana in our mess.
Food in our mess is not that much delicious but it is edible.

Hostel Facilities:

We are three in our room of my hostel and our hostel capacity is 6000 members. They provide one bed for on membe. There is some water issues in summer but current facility is there alltime. It is not rented room but provided by our college.

the rooms are equipped with fans,lights,and bed,cot,bed sheet. the meal is good they cook different types of dishes and weekly twice they serves chicken,and they give banana everyday. need to pay 10000 for the hostel rent and for this jagananna vasathi deevena scholership scheme is there.from this scheme we get 10000 for hostel fee.
