NMIMS Hyderabad MBA NMAT Key Features
- Owing to the computer-adaptive nature of NMAT, its questions are selected based on the candidate's performance in the previously answered questions.
- All the questions in the exam are MCQ type
- There is no negative marking in the NMAT exam. Candidates can attempt most of the questions instead of skipping them by using their calculated guess without any fear of penalties for every wrong answer.
- Candidates can choose the order of sections but they are required to follow the chosen order all through the exam.
- Each of the three sections of the NMAT Exam is individually timed. Therefore, the candidate must complete the respective section in the allotted time of each section.
- Another unique feature of the exam pattern is the Uniform Marking System. For every right answer, 1 mark is rewarded, and there will be no penalty for unattempted questions.
- However, if one candidate closes a section after completing it they will not be able to review it again. Therefore, candidates must review each section within the allotted time.
- In case a candidate completes the section before the section-time gets over, the balance time of the given section is not added to the next section(s). The next section has its own time limits and needs to be completed in the allotted sectional time only.
- The major advantage of NMAT is that the aspirant can take the NMAT exam three times in a given admission cycle. By this, candidates can improve their score to get admissions to the top B-schools.
- Also, the candidate gets the opportunity to schedule the test date, time, and test center location as per his/her convenience.

I applied to all the branches of NMIMs, ximb, etc. I got confiremd admission from nmims hyderabad only. i chosse this over others because it was one of the best options i had and it has a strong brand image .

- No other law college in India have trimester system but we have that.
- Not just BA LLB, but our college offers BBA LLB too.

I applied for NALSAR as if I was getting NALSAR only then I would go to NLU as I was getting GNLU but again I didn't wanted that and hence I chose a private law college. NMIMS holds an excellent pedigree and is among the top law colleges with lowest intake a year.

2. then i opted for private universities such as llyod, christ, symbiosis, etc.
3. i applied in nmims mumbai campus also but i backed off as there was no hostel facilty
4. i chose this college as the admission procedure then went smoothly and fee structure is good and the environment here is very much eligible for students

- I like mostly about my hostel facilities. The hostel rooms are well, cleaned and spacious. Rooms are of 4 sharing and there is 2 warden rooms available in every floor. Each rooms equipped with basis amenities like study tables, cupboards and beds.

I wanted to pesue my career in science background and NMIMS offers me a great start with an integrated course of 5 year with B.Pharm+MBA program. IThis program allowed me to complete 2 degrees in just 5 years.
NMIMS is one of the india's top tier universitiews known for its quality education and industry connections. Its reputation for offering innovativr and industry relavent courses was a big factor in my decision.

- The infrastructure of the enitre NMIMS franchise is incredible. Although the Hyderabad campus is still under process of getting completed, it still has great structure.
- Since people are from all over the country, the social interactions are pretty great. Nobody can feel alone in such a campus.
- Initially there was a shortage of faculty but eventually there came alot of faculty and they even have a staff quaters for them within the campus radius. Majority of the faculty have done their masters plus more in renowned universities such as NLUs
Dislikes
- Since the campus is still not completely made there are still a few things that the college is getting now and sometimes it's simple things like a food truck aside from the canteen or a coach for sports. So sometimes students run out of patience
- The School of Law campus is in the outskirts of the city in a town called Jadcherla so it becomes impractical for students to do their assessment internships in their final years. There is only a temporary solution to this issue so far.

9thI got an admission to every college that i applied to except i chose NMIMS Hyderabad since i am from Hyderabad and in Hyderabad NMIMS is considered one of the best colleges due to its infrastructure and reach. To get an admission in NMIMS School of Law, one can either give the Common Law Admission Test CLAT/NLAT( which is specific for NMIMS) / LSAT.

- Even though hostels are hostels still the food is very good even though i am from north india, i got used to the taste in about a week
- Hostels are luxurious, even though they are four sharing, still the quality and everything is awesome and hostels here are better than a lot of hotels

- Network issues, Vi works almost everywhere, Airtel works where Vi doesn't, don't use Jio, jio has terrible connectivity here, i dont know anything about BSNL/MTNL
- Connectivity with nearest town (Jadcherla) is good but not convinient, it takes 1 hour 30 min to reach Hyderabad from jadcherla

I applied to MIT, MIT-WPU, MIT-ADTU, VIT, BITS
I got admission in MIT WPU and ADTU but they dont have enough recognition, and in MIT i didnt go as its fees was more than my hostel+tution combined, BITS i didn't have pcm aggregate of 75+ and VIT i couldnt clear
You can get admission here with either NMIMS-CET or through NON-CET round i.e direct admission (they might close direct admission from 2025 batch onwards)

- The most appreciative thing about this college is the way resources are provided regarding academics and the push given by teachers for learning concepts.
- The clubs and committees made by the college are very active and motivate other people to participate in events.

The cut-off required for NMIMS Hyderabad is around 220+ and if you have scored 180 marks in NMAT, then it will be very difficult for you to get admission in NMIMS Hyderabad.
But, if you don't want to attempt NMAT again, then you can apply for other colleges where NMAT scores are accepted such as Athena School of Management, IBS Mumbai.
Athena School of Management is a popular institute, located in Mumbai. The placements are very good. Students also get the chance to do multiple internships during the course duration. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered to the students is around 8 LPA. You will also be offered a scholarship worth more than lakhs if you have an academic record.
With a 180 NMAT score, the chance of getting admission at NMIMS Hyderabad is quite thin. Either you have to attempt the NMAT exam again or apply to other colleges that accept NMAT scores.

- Looking at previous data from a few years back NMIMS Mumbai accepted students with scores of 190 and NMIMS Hyderabad accepted students with scores of 170.
- But due to the heavy competition and demand of Mumbai and Hyderabad, the cut off has risen with time.
- The previous year’s records state that the cut-off for NMIMS Mumbai was 207 to around 212.
- The cutoff for NMIMS Hyderabad was around 190.
Both of the cut off exceed the score you have mentioned in the question. Moreover, NMIMS does not consider work experience if the score is below the cut-off. It only accepts work experience if they cleared the cut-off. It is kept as the second criteria.

Applicants seeking admission to MBA need to first apply for NMAT and then for the course on the institute's website. Those who qualify NMAT are shortlisted for Personal Interview (PI) which may be held online. NMIMS will ONLY consider the first attempt score while shortlisting for PI round, reapplication candidates will not be consider for NMIMS MBA Admission. The shortlisted candidates need to download the Call letter. The final selection will be on Candidates' academic performance, relevant work experience, NMAT score and performance in WAT, Psychometric Test and PI.
