The overall faculty of the fine arts department is satisfactorily good.
The seats are good in the class is a good strength projector good stuff there is people always helping each other.
To be honest amity university kolkata gives placement very well.

Dislikes

Food are not good and healthy sometime can cause food poisoning
Transportation could be problematic due to the college's location off the main route, leading delays and inconvenience for students commuting to and from campus.
The biggest con for the hostel student is they are not allowed to go out during weekdays. This becomes highly inconvenient in some situations and also during some emergency.

Firstly Amity is a global university. It will give me a lot of exposure to the modern method of education. Also the infrastructure of the college is excellent. The college arranges for placement programmes which can be really helpful for the students.

I heard the professors are very good and the campus is also very beautiful.Students are very friendly.There are big air conditioned classrooms to provide an adequate comfort level to students to persue their studies.

Remarks:

I chose amity because i got a 25% scholarship in my first year as i had secured 80% in 12th std. Also being a private university, Amity doesn't compromise with its education as they have a very strict curriculum for the students so students don't really need extra tuition to understand any topic. I chose to pursue Honors in Chemistry because i came to know from my acquaintances that the Chemistry department was the best among allied sciences.

Remarks:

Since I was opting for medical, I didn't fill up any engineering college forms and my joint entrance examination rank was not so good. At that time amity was the only college which was taking admission so I joined. In addition to that, my elder sister was already studying there. One and only thing I like about this college was the campus.

Placement Experience:

Pursuing a bachelor degree won't actually fetch you anything as of an English Major, high placement for other department still the package remain low

The college has an holistic approach, with equal emphasis on sports and other activities including top notch faculties to provide education. The students can avail the various facilities the college has to offer. It also has a beautiful campus.

Because of academics and placement opportunities. I opted for the course because I wanted to follow my dream of becoming a travel and food journalist and show how there are lots to explore and enjoy in this world so that they don't give up on themselves and go out there enjoying. In Amity they help us in every possible way and prepare us for us to do our best and give our 100%

Amity University is a premiere institute of Kolkata established in 2015 offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various courses. The university can be reviewed on the following parameters:

FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS

The university provides an ample amount of scholarships at undergraduate and postgraduate level with different flexibilities. Merit scholarships are provided with 100% to 25% margin. Up till now 25000 scholarships have been granted to students. The fee structure is affordable as compared to other Amity colleges situated in India. For B.Tech, the fee is Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh for M.Sc.

PLACEMENTS

University’s Average package is Rs. 4 lakhs while Highest Package is Rs. 28 lakhs. The major recruiters are Amazon, BYJU’s, Federal Bank, Deloitte, and KPMG.

RESEARCH

Amity Kolkata specifically provides a broader range of research opportunities ranging from international research to national research. The institute has catered 500 books in different domains along with 6000 research publications.
