Amity University Mumbai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course because I wanted to study clinical psychology specifically through a BSc course. The faculty at Amity University is quite good (at least in the psychology department) Most of the teachers are young and have completed their PhD in psychology. They understand the students well and they are very open minded. There is 2 exams per semester (Mid Sems and End Sems). Other than that, there are also assignments, presentations, vivas, etc. (any two of these per semester) It depends on what the faculty selects.

After 5 semister students can apply for internships and placements. Many companies are visited in amity. The average package is 5 LPA and higher package is 40 LPA. 90% of students get placements (But it's all about your performance). Make your own business.

After the end of the semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Not aware of the campus placement process. 60% of students get placements. The average package would be 5LPA. I am currently pursuing my master's in clinical psychology at the same University after completing my degree at amity university, Mumbai.

There is a dedicated placement cell that looks at the placements of MBA students. The final year students sit for placements. Until now the placements are not so good but it is improving at a steady rate. Companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, Flipkart, Amazon, ICICI Bank and others come for placements. I don’t have a clear idea about the packages offered but it was around 7-8 LPA on an average.

Amity University provides placement opportunities to all of its students. My entire batch of students was placed. Our placement cell is very active and handles all placement-related activities well. Throughout the processes, we are properly guided. The highest package available was 15 lpa, while the average package was 5 lpa.

Over 90% of students get placements for their desired course. Internships are made compulsory for students to get hands-on experience before completing the degree. Some even offer jobs after the duration of the internship.

Various number of Amity universities are present in the country with my intentions were to take admission in the Amity university, Mumbai with the great number of placements and internships are offered. College expects a minimum 50% in the 10th ad 12th marks with a personal interview that was held in which questions about my interests were asked.

The placement facilities are great. Many companies offer like Marks and Spencer, Aditya Birla, etc. Not sure about the package. Most of the students get placements who are well qualified and skilled. My plan is to learn and experience industrial work.

The first step for the admission was registering online. This was done through the university website. For this I had to pay 1000 rupees. The next step was filling the form and uploading all of my documents. Then I got shortlisted and was asked to attend an interview. The reason for choosing Amity University was that it had a very respectable reputation.

From the second year you are eligible for the campus placements, they provide good placements in the media sectors, the average package goes around 3-4 L per annum. Almost every student gets placed in the university.
