Beliefs and Beneath of GLS University by Achyut Jani

Likes

Knowledge,understanding and teaching skills of the faculty
Well equipped Infrastructure with proper facilities according to the course
Different kind of skill based events covering all the domains

Dislikes

Less opportunity of better placement after graduation
Sports activities and infrastructure is not that benevolent as compared to other colleges
clubs in the FOBA department lacks the proper management

Placement Experience:

Campus placement varies between 4-8 LPA after graduation from GLS University. Almost 65% students gets the placement after getting degree which is still not bad for Tier 3 college. Campus placement also depends on Course you opted for and level of your skills. Companies like TCS, wipro, HCL, ICICI, Asian paints, and many more visited GLS University for campus Placement. Companies choose candidates from various Domains with certain rules and regulations followed by Universities guidelines. Candidate which has plan for MBA can also build strong foundation from choosing BBA course. But the overall packages still feels low as compared to living expense of today's world.

My College experience & college life until now.

Likes

Teachers are supportive and helpful.(understandability)
College canteen is good and college also provide opportunities for sports.
Drama classes, College auditorium and other infrastructure.

Dislikes

Timings because classes end up very late .
Culture outside college is not that much of good.
Fees is very much compared to studies and teaching.

After 3 semester students are eligible for placements. I don't know about the offers and companies as i am in the second semester. Highest package starts from 1,50,000 ..... percentage required is 60%. My plans are on some different level which I can't display or put on table for now.

Dislikes

Campus is too small if you want or have a dream of a big campus of college where you can roam and walk then this is not for you
Not much activity taking place if you think that that the college should be full of activity then this college is not for you this college don’t offer much activities and mainly focuses on studies which is boaring
Management is the worst thing of this college they are unorganised and they try to transfer there mistakes on students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Its ok like course is a bit good but they don't provide the proper notes like if they will send you the notes there will be difference in the notes and it will be head ache for you to find the notes and some topics are missing too

First thing I like the professors engagement towards the studies of the student and their knowledge in their respective fields which give expertise knowledge to the students
Secondly College organises various programs related to the curriculum activities which are like sessions of guest meeting and various knowledgable competitions.
College also balances other curriculum activities like dance, fashion, art, singing and many more

Dislikes

They take too much exams that a student gets exhausted
The campus is too small it’s okay for only studies you cannot have a college life in this campus.
There is only more theoretical knowledge in bba hons rather than practical

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good but I have chosen finance in that we should have practical knowledge but they are teaching theoritical knowledge which is not applicable in today's time but overall study curriculum is very nice.

Beyond GLS University

Likes

Overall experience is average. You get good exposure to other activities than academics
Girl boy ratio is decent in the college. Girls have no restrictions here.
College life is good and you get good exposure to social interactions

Dislikes

Infrastructure is needed in the college.
Faculty is very short tempered and not professional.
Security is a bit less according to expectations.

Placement Experience:

In BBA, there is BBA retail, BBA Regular and BBA Honors. In BBA Retail you are skilled up according to a company and after completion you get a job in that company directly. In BBA Hons and BBa Regular, you get provided with campus placements. The famous one was from Maruti in our college.

faulty are welled experience and good at understanding concept
the clubs in the college really help student to explore the new areas .
college encourage students to participate in competition in intra college as well as inter college.

Dislikes

The size of campus is not that much big , it congested when the people attend college at same time.
the washrooms doesnt have water supply throughout the year
the infrastructure of college is not so good

Course Curriculum Overview:

They give you one year to select your major and minor for 2nd year. They provide compulsory summer internships to students to help them prepare for the corporate world. Exams always include cases in them that help them evaluate students' management skills in written exams.

A review my college deserves

Likes

The classrooms are very neat and clean & well maintained with good hygiene.
Faculty members are very kind and respectful to each students.
Teachers & professors have great teaching skills with all required knowledge.

Dislikes

Some students are very harsh and disrespectful to most of people.
There’s always some or the other thing under construction due to which students face problems.
Not adequate system of parking for students as well as teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Everything is well organised is course bachelors of business administration therefore I selected this course. It's very effective for the real world application & have better scopes for future. Areas of improvement is only sports & everything is perfect . Timings of exam are very reasonable and exams schedules are also good.

teaching methods is really interctive and with technology
many different events like ecofest, anvesh, interclass competition many more
and also the infrastructure is good but still developing

Dislikes

when I took admission in GLS UNIVERSITY the big ground is in construction
they stopped organising navratri which was very famous GLS navratri
and now day in the university still in construction so we have to face many difficulties in parking

Placement Experience:

in the last semester students are eligible for placement and the placement from college percentage is 75% student gets the placement from campus average placement 4.5lac to highest 12 lac per annum so you must've to get greater than 8 cgpa

The Campus i liked. there is gym in the college and there is soo much greenary in the college

Dislikes

Their is not proper lift. the campus is good but it should be more big

Not yet know beacause I am in 2nd year and not know much i think there is a good placement for students i think from 3rd year of bba the students are eligible for placements and there are many different companies they visit

My BBA journey at GLS

Likes

I like the infrastructure pf the college very much
The faculty is very humble, polite and helpful
Overall atmosphere of the college and the function are very nice

Dislikes

The watchman does whistle alot if you stand in parking
Renovation always stays on... I saw whenever i went to clg something was in making

Placement Experience:

There are placements offered for us. Though i already had a job beforehand , so I didn't sit for the placement, I heard it from my friends that salary was around 25000 for most of the position it might differ but that was Average, and most of roles were for sales and marketing.
