NIT Andhra Pradesh Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

NIT Andhra Pradesh does not offer individual scholarships but provides financial assistance through various state and central government-funded scholarship programs. These include the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), which offers scholarships up to Rs. 80,000 per annum, and state-specific scholarships like Jnanabhumi and Jagananna Vidya Kanuka for eligible students. Students from economically weaker backgrounds can avail full tuition fee waivers if their family income is below Rs. 1 lakh per annum, and a two-thirds fee remission for incomes between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise fees we are paying for the academics is 200000. In that the tution fees is 130000. caution fees is approximately 2500. remaining fees are included in it. There will be fee reambesment for low income people.(Like MEB ,OEB students). for sc and st there will be no academic fees. reliance foundation scholarship will be available for merit students of 50000 rupees. LIC scholarship for merit of 30000 rupees. NSP scholarship of 60000 rupees for need. Janmabhumi scholarship for need of rupees 40000 it is only for Andhra Pradesh students.

Yearly tution fee of nit ap is 130000INR.hostel fee is 30000INR per sem.initially a caution and registration of 2,800inr will deposited per every year. Fee waiver is available for economically weaker sections with family income less than 5 lpa. No tution for sc,st,pwd students

The year wise fees i paid nothing for tution because of reservation while others have to pay around 65,000 for one semester.Regarding scholarships the college do not provide any scholarships but we have NSP and others.The fees will not increase.

the yearly fee for the course is 125000 rupees the hostel and mess fee is 40000 rupees the caution fee is 12400 which is to be paid at the time of admission my friend is from st category so his fee is waived off

My college experience

one year tuition fee is ?1,30,000 and hostel fee is ?80,000 there is a free remission system in which SC and ST do not have to pay any tuition fee during the admission and OBC category whose family income is less than one lakh they get full tuition fee remission of their whole tuition fee and the students who belongs to the category like general OBC, but their family income is between one lakh and five lakh, they get 2/3 fee remission .

In nit ap fees are affordable .Here fees may based an category of a student like general student 1.2lakhs per year,ews and obc student will have little amount approximately 25000 per year and sc and st students will not have any semester fee.There are other fees like hostel caution fee a amount of 4000 which is refundable.There will mess admission fee a amount of 2000.There is a mess security fee a amount of 4000 which is refundable.The hostel fee is 30000 per semester.Here the nit ap we have many scholarships to apply private scholarships like sbi,relianceetc.goverment scholarships in nsp portal like central sector scheme of scholarships for college and university students and yasasvi scholarship and sc and st scholarship for university studdents

for first sem i have paid 40,000 for hostel fee and for second sem i have paid 29,000 for hostel fee for my category tution fee is exempted . for other categories they have to pay 65,000 tution fee for each sem . we have lot of scholarships and financial aids like SBI,NSP,RELIANCE scholarships and also student loan for students.
