NIT Tadepalligudem is the 31st institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India. The institute offers BTech in eight branches of engineering with a total intake of 480 seats. 

Placements:-

The training and placement department of the institute hosts many companies and holds an impressive record for placements. 

The top companies are TCS, Wipro, Vedanta, Amazon, Deloitte, JustDial, Tata Products, Accenture, BSCPL, Microsoft, etc.

General Admission Requirements:-

• The candidates must secure 45% marks for admission in BTech. 
• The selection of the candidates is based on the marks secured in JEE Main. 
• The final admission of the candidates shall be through CSAB counselling.

Infrastructure:-

• The institute has 100% residential accommodation facilities available for male and female students with well-furnished rooms and necessary provisions.
• A well-stocked library with a good collection of books, journals, and digital reading material. 

Faculty:-

• NIT Tadepalligudem currently has 28 permanent faculties to strengthen the teaching process apart from 65 Ad Hoc faculties. 
• Most of the faculties are doctorates, and the institute provides good academic ambience for teaching.

NIT Tadepalligudem offers several courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The college has highly qualified and accomplished faculty who are very experienced and experts in their domain. The institute also has a well-stocked library. Hostels are well-furnished and have the necessary facilities required for residence.

NIT Tadepalligudem, also known as NIT Andhra, is a good institute for undergraduate programs in engineering. Being a newer NIT, there are some advantages and disadvantages of studying in the institute, and some of them are listed below in the key highlights. 

Key Highlights:

• NIT Andhra provides an excellent academic facility and curriculum to students. The reason behind such excellence is the fact that the institute is mentored by NIT Warangal.
• There is a difficulty in mess food at NIT Andhra. The quality of food provided in the hostels is not as good as that of other NITs, due to the absence of such good quality chefs as other NITs.
• The institute provides a good quality hostel in itself. Until a few years back, the institute had its operations on a temporary campus in Vasavi. It is now shifted to a permanent campus.
• Overall, NIT Andhra provides all facilities almost as good as other NITs for the overall development of students in the institute.

Therefore, NIT Andhra is a good institute, where students are quite sure to overcome the little difficulties in living inside the campus and be decent engineers after their graduation.

It is quite unreachable and good faculty is not available too for teaching on time. My sister studies at one of the old NITs which are much better as far as networking and alumni support are concerned; they are better than the NIT you're enquiring about. Its ranking is not clearly available on major ranking platforms also. 

Apart from this, you may want to note these down-

• Do not select any of the following NIT campuses: Andhra Pradesh, Mizoram, Puducherry, Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim.
• NIT Andhra Pradesh was established in September 2015 and hence, there's a dearth of good companies and excellent jobs.
• If you're moving there from another state, then I'd advise you to spare the effort because the crowd is not very bright.
• The central government has not made any provision for the allocation of funds for NIT Andhra Pradesh, but you'd find that huge sums have been invested in IIT Hyderabad and NIT Warangal.

However, NIT is still in its developing phase, it has the potential to become as successful as its other namesakes but being new, permanent faculty is still to be recruited, some equipment is missing too, but being dedicated you might excel even there.

Now, I hope you'd understand that there are much better institutes in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana like JNTUH, JNTUK, IIT Hyderabad, IIIT Hyderabad etc. Well-known companies would actually like to recruit from these institutions rather than from NIT AP.

IIIT Sri City is considered among the 91 institutions that are declared ‘Institute of National Importance’ by MHRD. Every year 70% of students are placed in top companies. More than 70 companies participated in the recruitment drive.

NIT Andhra Pradesh is a comparatively newer establishment and the permanent campus is located at Tadepalligudem town. It has a faculty strength of 92 members. The total student intake across all departments is 480.

• Students should have 75% in their 10+2 qualifying exam.
• Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are compulsory.
• JEE Main rank will be considered.
• For MTech applicants 60% is required in BTech or BE exam.

IIIT Sri City 

• More than 70 companies appeared in the placement program.
• The top recruiters include Infosys, Finsol, L&T, Value Momentum, Via.com, HSBC, TCS, NinjaCart, Zipper Technologies, APA Engineering, Teamware, etc.

NIT Andhra Pradesh

• 30 companies participated in the placement program.
• 180 students were placed.
• Top recruiting companies include BSCPL, RAAM Group, TCS, Wipro, Vedanta, Deloitte, TATA, Accenture, Blueberry, etc.

Facilities 

IIIT Sri City

• With a campus area of 80 acres, the institute has a medical centre with 24x7 ambulance services and doctors.
• The hostels are well equipped with all the necessary facilities.
• Students are also provided with sports, bank facilities, transport and dining services.

NIT Andhra Pradesh 

• Students have 100% accommodation facilities in well furnished hostels including necessary items.
• The library has both paper books and digital reading materials.
• They have sports grounds and equipment.
• Transportation facilities are also provided to local students.

CSE involves the concepts of computer programming and networking, programming languages, computer software and hardware and much more. Students graduating with CSE can work as system database administrator, computer programer, engineering support specialist, data warehouse analyst, system designer, software developer, software engineer, lecturer or professor, computer operator and research analyst. Both colleges will be a good option to study CSE.

NIT Tadepalligudem is recognized as an institute of national importance. NIT Tadepalligudem currently has 28 permanent faculties to strengthen the teaching process apart from 65 Ad Hoc faculties.

JNTU Anantapur ranks 4th among the top engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh by QS ranking. The placement rate is 80%, where a total of 430 students were placed in top MNCs. The faculty strength of the institute is 15 highly qualified members.

Admission process:

NIT Tadepalligudem

• The candidates must secure 45% marks for admission in BTech. 
• The selection of the candidates is based on the marks secured in JEE Main. 
• The final admission of the candidates is done through CSAB counselling.
• The total intake is 480.
• The cutoff required is in the range of 5885 - 11946.
• The fees required is INR 5.8 LPA. 

JNTU Anantapur

• The candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2.
• The selection in the BTech courses is based on the rank in EAMCET. 
• The total fees required is INR 4 LPA. 
• The cutoff required is 38251.
• The seats allocated are 120.

Placements:

NIT Tadepalligudem offered placement opportunities to 154 students in 2019. More than 30 recruiters have participated in the placement drive of 2019.

The top companies visit the campus of JNTU Anantapur every year. Around 5-6 companies get jobs in more than a single company with an average salary of INR 4 LPA. 

The top recruiting companies are Amazon, IBM, Cognizant, Microsoft, Voltas, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, Verizon, HP, TCS, etc. 

Faculty

Both the institutes have 30 in-house faculties and 65 ad hoc support staffs for serving the institute. 

Facilities:

• NIT Tadepalligudem has 100% residential accommodation facilities available for both male and female students. 
• The library has a well-stocked collection of books and other journals. 
• The campus of JNTU Anantapur is slowly and steadily increasing its area with the latest technologies. 

So, by comparison, NIT Tadepalligudem is far better than JNTU Anantapur.

IIIT Sri City is way too better when compared to NIT Andhra Pradesh considering the fact that both of these are fairly new institutions. IIIT Sri City is older when compared to NIT-AP. Academic facilities are amazing IIIT Sri City and there is an on-campus hostel facility too. I have a few friends at IIIT Sri City, and I have heard good things about the institute from them.
