SRM University Sikkim Ranking 2025

In our college our 6th semester results are completely based on intership report. We can either join SRM itself for intership or choose according to our preference and intrest where we can work and develop our skills according to what were comfortable and intersted in

Our college help us find an intership and we can also find our own internship in companies we like. The recent internship to my knowledge the is the role of admission assistant in SRM University itself with a stipend of 5k per month. All they had to do were contacting prospectus students and influence their decision to join SRM University Sikkim. Other than that our university do provide and assist in intership but I don't have clear idea regarding that as I'm still in my 5th semester

Like for the last sem we have internship so during my graduation time I did my internship in one of the renowned tours and travel in Sikkim my daily task was to get permit for the tourist and to go as a guide as I did my graduation in tourism and hospitality Management and I took tourism as my major

About the campus placement they give us placement but not of huge packages. The salary package comes out around 2.50 LPA till 3.50 LPA. Just the chosen few get big packages. The highest package offered was around 10LPA. Most of the students here don't opt for placement as in Sikkim people believe that government jobs are better and choose to do government jobs instead of opting for placement from colleges.

Many companies come for the internship and offers many students in there company. Those internships also helps the students to get the placements in many more big companies. Companies like TCS, Delloite and many more offers big amount to the students.

From 3rd semester we become eligible for campus placement. Hdfc bank, Ramada hotel, Torrent, Sun pharma, lenskart are the few companies. The highest package was 100000 and the average package is 250000. Any students can get placement if they are smart enough but the minimum is 5 cgpa. After getting the degree , I'll go for interviews.

The companies are byjus, academia, pizzahut, dominisetc. Well quite a lot of people are getting placementi hope i also get.

If you studied in srm university sikkim you will get the opportunities to do internship in kolkota , guwahati, sikkim itself and in the other place and you can do best at if you do in the place like that .

I have no ideas about that but I listen from seniors that you can get a internship through college from the 2nd Or 3rd year and gain some work experience before placing for any company. The project are is like software development.

As we are having projects on our VI sem, 3rd year. Whole class students are divided into 5 groups and different groups are under the supervision of a different professor. You can even choose your professor under whom you wanna work. They guide you to perform different experiments and research. Currently, my group is writing a review paper on Alpha-glucosidase and diabetes. Other students are experimenting with the atomic spectrum. Some of the students are doing both experiments & research. Depends on how much you give preference on your project. Projects are very important they can earn you money & fame at this young age if done exceptionally well.
