Clear all your doubts regarding SRM University Sikkim, Gangtok

Hostel Facilities:

We have hostels for both girls and boys situated in tadong and daragaon. The fees for year to my knowledge is 84000(current). Each room is either 2 sharing, 3 sharing, 4 sharing, single with washroom in each room. The food is also nice , filtered water is provided. Breakfast in the morning(8:30), the lunch at 1:00pm, snacks at 5:00pm and dinner at 8:30 is provided. Menu to be followed are chicken on Friday and Sunday and egg in wed rest days normally sabji dal. facilities like washing machine , wifi, is also available. For registration we have to book the hostel in addmission cell or during the time of admission only. When I compare the housing prices in Gangtok hostel is quite affordable with free bus . That is no transportation cost associated while going and coming from clg.

Mess Food- Quality of the mess food is worse.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facility is good excluding hostel food. The food of the mess is worse. After you clear the entrance of SRMJEE you will be getting emails from college for registration. Hostel fees: 230000 per year.

Hostel Facilities:

Yes. The hostel rooms are better than most of the colleges with attached washrooms. Only available on twin sharing basis. The hostel fee including mess per year is around 10k.There will be no shortage of rooms and every student wanting the hostel room will be allotted one.

The over-all experience of our college could be rated as 9 there are places for improvement but if we look at other colleges there are so much pressure happening but our college as i already mentioned gives us best enviornment to grown mentally as well focusing on other activities as well , we have different clubs like eco club, dance club, culture club etc where we participate and it gives us more opportunities to grow as whole

The infrastructure of our college is not good but the Vice chancellor said that the campus is being built for future use. So for now the infrastructure is not good. And about club involvement and other aspects the college is really good. It supports all the students and there individualism. The college is really good.

Srm have industrial visit and not only that we have management fest that are held on August every month. Student can avail wide variety of books and journal from library. If the necessary books are not available they can write an application to the Liberian. In each classroom there are projector, so they teacher can present in ppt format. And SRM uses ERP software for keeping the record for every students and faculties. Sports is held every year and other fest are held monthly or annually that depends on department to department. Dil khol ke likha huwa review

Campus Life:

Merikai is held every year . There are no official freshers or farewell which is very sad. The books are quite accessible but all are very old, in the name of technology in classes we have slow wifi and a projector.
