REVA EET (REVA University Engineering Entrance Test) is an Entrance Exam conducted by REVA University for aspiring applicants for Engineering Programs at REVA. REVA PET is a 3-hour-long exam consisting of questions worth 100 marks. Aspirants can register for the exam by paying an application fee of INR 1000 via a Demand Draft (DD) or through Net banking. My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Likes

My college provides a solid academic foundation with well qualified faculty members and hands-on lab sessions.
Girls to boys ratio in my course is 60:40 -70:30. The science and biotech streams has higher female students creating a comfortable environment.
campus life is active with several student run clubs, cultural events and workshops.

Dislikes

Our course tend to have less days for semester end breaks with generally lees than a month.
Our course do not provide with internship opportunities.
There is not much hands on bioinformatics lab sessions

Admission:

I applied to MS Ramaiha, Jain College, NITTE in Mangalore for food technology, biotechnology and biomedical science respectively. I received confirmation from all but chose REVA due to its affordable fee, transport facilities and good reviews from people. Admission process: Eligibility- 12 grade with biology and chemistry Admission was base on 10 and 12 boards marks and an entrance exam was required. The process was straightforward with online for filling, document submission and counseling.

Likes

Friendly faculty and good in teaching...
Infrastructure is very nice and all facilities are available
People from higher authority responds very quickly

Dislikes

Sometimes less cleanliness in the ground
Few of faculty are not good in there respective field
Strict in attendance but some what it's not needed that much

I choose this college because my senior friend one of mine told me about this and I joined the way he said about the teaching methods so I joined there and I got best advice from him with is good for my future

REVA University: The Green Revolution

Likes

Infrastructure is serene with a Green Campus
Faculty is qualified and takes care to improve student understanding
Industry Exposure is good especially with organisations taking time to send professionals

Dislikes

Fee structure could be altered with the number on the expensive side
Not a lot of scholarships available for students of merit
No support for internships with a lot of weightage on College placements that provide only mediocre packages

Admission:

I did not personally apply to other unis because there are not a lot of other unis which provide similar course handled by subject matter experts. I only applied to REVA university and got in without much hassle. The eligibility criteria was only the results scored in 10th and 12th with relative ease if you have good scores. There is no need to write any competitive exams for the same.

I had applied for RV college I got this reva university but it's is good option for me I had got admission form kcet exam the admission process was quick and sample no headache No exams were conducted

Compared to other colleges academic year is long.

Admission:

I choosed this college due to cutoff of KCET exam and fee structure. However if you manage yourself you can get placed and have good package but you have work hard by yourself because you are in masters.

I like the infrastructure of my college because it have good buildings and it's very clean. It have more trees which gives it a greenary book which is so peaceful when entering. There are benches to sit in the lawns
There are many courses and every course have their own speciality in the college every department have the chance to expose themselves and they can conduct events and go to overall college for the registration and etc
There are official social media pages where many things will be informed and you there is a huge ground where many people play games and mainly there are many students from the sports quota which is encouraging the students to focus on both.

Dislikes

There are alot of people who one talks hindi which oore irritating for a person like me who don't know to speak it's a not only abt students even abt the teachers and if we ask them talk in english they look at us like an aliens
The rules will be changing mainly in the timing they are strict and they keep on changing the rules of that first it was 8:30 then 8:20 now 8:25 some day scholars have to struggle to come to the college
There are alot of food stalls but mostly all are more priced which makes me not to buy it and the quantity is also less and coming to girls or boy there are boys more and it is more safety than other colleges

Likes

The campus is A tier , it is very huge and is maintained very neatly.
There are lots of shops and canteen where we can buy food , etc and it is priced reasonably.
The library is huge and the faculty is good .

Dislikes

Most of the class rooms need to be improved.
Not much events are taking place, currently.

Admission:

I applied to Reva University, Atria Institute, and Pes College for my undergraduate program. I received admission offers from Reva and Atria , but I chose Reva University because of its strong industry connections and excellent placement record. The faculty at Reva University is also well-known in my field, and the campus infrastructure is much better compared to Pes College.
