In vi semester students become eligible for internships and placements companies like infosys ,wipro , accenture, amazon etc last year amazon offered highest package in university of 44lpa my plan is to place in good company or startup
The faculties are highly educated and they have good experience in teaching and very friendly
I mostly liked was fee structure and the scholarship there providing for students

Dislikes

No i didn't write any entrance exams .they have done the admission process by only the cut off marks of 12th standard.there is no eligibility every one can join.fees structure they will give when you visit the college admission block.
Things i dislike in collage that is they will give attention only tamil students
I don't like the way of correction of answer sheet these done based on writing not on content

In hostel they provide free gym for the students
The reponse from the management is very good in case of any issues
good placements for the students over the years

Dislikes

the hostels are far away from the hostels and it hard to walk daily from college to hostel
the grounds in hostels takes a lot of thime to dry after a little rainfall also
The transport facilities like buses are very minimal from the city called avadi

Placement Experience:

>the campus placements are available from the 7 th semister. >The companies like dell,microsoft,Infosys has been visited and many other companies have been visited. >the placements are continuing at present >highest package is nearly 43lakh and the average is 6 lakhs(in cse) >around 90 percent of the students got placed every year >after graduation i want to do a high paying job

In this college there are many activities are performed by the students and the teachers such as all the south indian festivals like onam etc are celebrated
Relationship and bonding between teachers and the students is very impressive
Experience and knowledge of the teachers is impressive

Dislikes

Strict rules and regulations are followed in this university
Long procedures are taken for performing any activity during placements also
Equipments related to the commerce students are not properly maintained in this college

During third year or in 5 th semester college offers different types of placements facilities from the different companies And college also takes placement classes for the students that's help to pre prepare for the placements

A college of freedom

in my college there is full freedom because the teacher don’t interfere between boys and girls for example if a girl and boy sit together and if any lecturer passing by them means the lecturer doesn’t interfere between that boy and girl

Dislikes

this i don’t like in my college is maximum nothing but one thing the sports culture is not good at my college thats it

first one thing i joined this college because of good placements records so that in this university that placement opportunitys is very high based on our skills we get placed. my plans is for higher students in abroad

A rollercoaster experience in college

Likes

From 2nd year u can select the lecture u need and set the time table
Some lectures are too good in supporting .
Having mentors for approaching if we need anything

Dislikes

Hostel management sucks , they behave rude
Class starts too early feels hectic sometimes
Ratio of girls to boys is soo less 20:80

They also train us in college for good placements we do have lot of programs to improve our skills . In Placement drive some good amount of students get selected.They train us to give our best in campus drive .

Vel Tech college

Likes

The college is very Good for the girls student .
The security is very high for girls And no ragging in the college
As well as Good college for boys also and education is Good

Dislikes

Sometimes we wouldn't like mess food as we are eating it daily
The rooms are not that much expected as they are not good
The wardens are strict and wont even allow us to go for outing on sunday

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Time for the exam duration they had given for unit tests is 1 hr 30 mins as we are writing for 30 marks.The time is Sufficient and for the Semister exams they are providing 3 hours of time .That is also Sufficient.

The journey into the 4 years of engineering

Likes

I liked the campus life and the quality of teaching.
Here in veltech you are exposed to variety of culture and a different environment to make you feel comfortable to the outside world

Dislikes

One of the most irritating thing I have faced is waiting for the faculty to approve things which can be done easily.
They rather prefer old and slow ways rather than modern and fast ways to solve things

Placement Experience:

placement department works very hard to train the students in every other aspect starting from the first year the training classes starts every week they will be at 2:00 to 3 hours classes in a placement training where we be trained on the aptitude aptitude kill the soft skills and any and other skills like coding is etc the placement department of different courses to enhance the student feels like well group discussions and content writing essay writing programs we can students to learn more . Replacement department starts to give the placement opportunities for the students starting from the third year itself. There will be at least 2 to 3 companies visiting the college in the 4th year trying to play the students in good companies starting from 2 lpa to almost reaching to 12 lpa on campus.

Likes

I like the faculty behavior with students
I like the professor teach us good about the subject
I like the gender equality amoung the boys and girls

Dislikes

I didnt like the high fee for collage for these course
There are lots of students in cse branch
All yhe students are in b tech and some of them in other branch

Placement Experience:

In my collage placements are nice and if there is no placements i would not refer these collage to any one after completion of my degree if there is no placements iwll search and other wise iwll be in any business

Definetly students will get offerletters accordingly but that's our thing to crack or grab the opportunity whereas they will take care of students who all are waiting for the jobs no issues in this aspect

Likes

Good and friendly teaching staff and mentorship guidence and parenting mind set and friendly faculty
Engaging classes and professors who explains subject matter interestingly
Well maintained library sports extra circular and co circular activities and study spaces

Dislikes

Stress ful in record times over crowded spaces in canteens etc
Difficulty and no govt schemes provided for financial assistance
Stress ful for students to peer and to engage in the competative environment

Placement Experience:

Studnts with 0 arrears are eligible for placements from initial phase of 3rd year. Max of MNC will be given training and taken as bulk requirements. There are 70-75 % are getting placed. Some are getting placed in multiple companies.highest CTC 64 lakh by jashwanth kosanam from Amazon. Lowest was 3 lakh by some startup company

I have a few friends from Vel Tech University and according to them, it is a decent college with affordable course fees. A B.E from Val Tech will cost you around 2 lakhs.

Mainly IT companies visit the college campus to recruit students from IT, CSE, EEE branches. So, you will get decent placement opportunities. You will be placed if your aptitude and spoken English are good.

According to the recent placement highlights, around 90% of students are placed. The highest package last year was 12 LPA. The college has a placement cell that invites a number of companies. Some of the major recruiters visiting the campus placements are Google, Capgemini, Amazon, Vivo, etc.

Career guidance programs are conducted twice a week. Some highly skilled professors are allocated for teaching online exams which are conducted under the guidance of the smart teaching staff.
